Thanks everyone for their lists. This album needs some serious tweakin. And everyone hopin on the classic bandwagon, no no no no.. could be, still no. But C3 does have its gems.

Side note: Good Girl Gone Bad is a Devin the Dude song. There is a blend going around being passed as the missing track but its Wayne and Bun B'sverses from "Apologize"

Well we're talkin about the actual album. Sure there's potential for a great album, but you can't say "oh, if this song was on the album, #!+$ woulda been classic..." You gotta take the music he's provided for us and judge whether the album was good or not.
The reason why people can do it with Wayne, and with this CD in particular, is because an album of what was supposed to be Carter 3 tracks,leaked. It's a well known fact. As a result, Wayne had to continually push his album back/record new material.

It's an interesting and worthwhile discussion because:

1. The real release of C3 has some gems on it. Gems as in, some of his best work concerning all 3 Carter albums. A lot of them are on C3.

2. There were a lot of good tracks that leaked, that was initially supposed to be on this album. Replace some of his weakest efforts here, with the ones thathe couldn't carry over to the final release (because everybody heard it already), and that's why people are making the claim that this album could be'near classic.'

Apologize with wayne and bun is the blend. The OG version is with devin the dude, wayne, bun and is called "Lil Girl Gone"

Near Classic?

This album is like 5 good songs away from being mediocre. Joint is trash as it stands. Like 2.75 / 5 I swear, most of the music listeners have either...

1. lowered their expectations so far that they don't even discriminate any longer

or...

2. Have a wack #%#% filter, so they don't even hear the BS.

or

3. Are ******ed.

Like how could an album with Phone home, La La, Lollipop, Mrs. Officer...that has no flow, and 2 wack lines for every good line be "close to classic".

Did you actually read the post my G. The whole point of this post was to take away the trash from the album and replace it with songs that leaked from the OG carter 3(which had a lot of great material on it

). Next in the agenda is the amount of dudes who would scolf at calling wayne's album good but wet they bedsheets when some rapper who was classic in the 90's drops mediocre material and everyone throwing around "near classic". See(everything Wu has Dropped in the past 5 years, Mobb Deep, etc)

^ man, can it. I read, I comprehended, I disagreed. The album has like 4 good songs...out of 15. There's no amount of reconstruction that could help it,save for totally going back to the drawing board and selecting completely new songs, at which point it would cease to be the Carter III and be a totallydifferent album.

Are you saying if you took off the tracks you hate on the album, add Something You Forgot, One Night Only, I'm Me, Prostitute, etc, it wouldn'tbe a more solid album?

i was more referring to the people who are saying wayne fell off hard since whenever is trendy to say (nowadays its dedication wayne) ... you cantfall off when you have those tracks that unconditional posted from his itunes ... its sheer hate or stupidity if you think wayne fell off with those recenttracks

at this point, its not even defending wayne, its proving people to be stupid ... if you come in and say wow this cd is garbage you are a bum in life ... ifyou come in hating wayne already why would you dl and listen to his whole album just to say hes trash again?

its like this ... i hate country music (although some of that ###% be rockin) ... if a cd from alan jackson leaked, i wouldnt dl it because i dont like countrymusic or alan jackson (save for 2 old songs lol) ... why would i dl and listen just to confirm the fact i hate him? and then why would i come in a thread aboutalan jackson just to say i hate it acting like i gave a damn in the first place?
