I'm thinking about starting so I can say I had proper locs at least once in my life.
Those of you who work in offices, how is it? Especially at the beginning when they're in the struggle stage. I live in a place where we're an even bigger minority so all that is in the back of my head.
Like 2 years ago I just let my hair grow without any special care and my afro got all kinds of messed up and I ended up cutting it. I miss having lots of hair tho especially with our winters.

For me, I go every 4 weeks and dude charges $75. So about $900 for me

Mine depends. My coworker did mine most of last year no charge and she did a nice job.

The times she didn’t, I had a chick I was smashing do it for sometimes $65 since she did hair and I supported her “business”.

But I usually would have mine done once a month. No set intervals either.
