Now, it should be a well-known fact that a diet is an important factor into staying/getting into shape. This thread is to help me, as well as probably numerousother NT'ers, figure out exactly how to eat right, given a lot of the misconceptions out there. I do know that it isn't how much you eat, but what youeat. In other words, cut out the junk and sodas for fruits, vegetables, and water. For me, I'm just trying to get into a little better shape - i.e. losingsome of the weight around my stomach, gain a little more definition in general, the usual. From what I gather, such a diet should focus on proteins. I try tostick with George Foreman'ed chicken (and fish/turkey/etc. too). But that's the extent of my knowledge. What alternatives, sides (other than vegetables- rice?) are good? Oatmeal for breakfast? What else? I know this topic is often discussed, but I haven't seen a focused thread about it. I know there are alot of knowledgeable NT'ers out there, so hopefully some can spread what they know
