Matt Barnes is 6'9.

Well, he wasn't in HS.

Secondly, I was speaking on his style of play.

Being a tweener.

Strength at that level.

And what Matt Barnes is NOW, is nowhere near what he was in UCLA.

Other than PJ Tucker, his game has changed as much as anyone I have seen from the NCAA to the NBA

You can say that (range) about a lot of guys who have transitioned from college to the NBA.

What did Jason Smith say when asked about his 3pt shot? Evolve or die. Simple as that.

Landscape of the league changed more than these players. They just had to adapt.

PJ Tucker was a POWER forward. He was literally a rebounding hustle player that scored dirty buckets.

He was bigger as well. He wasn't guarding wings yet. He was just a tough/hustle type dude that scored buckets close range.

The league changing doesn't negate what I said.

They still changed their games drastically.

Liangelo needs to rework his body....and watch some Lazar Hayward and Josh Shipp tapes

Another good comparison for middle Ball. Josh and Joe Shipp especially, had very similar body types and games.  They even kinda look alike.

If I remember correctly, he was in a starting front court with Buckman/LA. Interchanging between the 3/4. OF COURSE him being 6'5" is not going to translate to him being a 4 in the NBA. Thus, he had to change his game. Like add range. This is why he was a journeyman before settling in the NBA much later than when he was drafted.

They have a shot at getting 3 brothers in the league at the same time.

I think he does.  He's short, but has a pretty long wingspan and can shoot the lights out from everywhere. His game is similar to that of Yogi Ferrell.  I think there's a role for him. Especially with his family hoops pedigree

No...I don't think people are reading too much in to this. If he's taking issue with a family member of Lonzo Ball, then don't do/say anything after you kind of deaded it wiht the "father to father" statement.

First take, that show on FS1, etc., probably jumping at the bit to get Lavar back in the studio to get his take on Lebron's warmup routine. That **** doesn't happen, Lavar ain't gonna be called up to be a guest.

Why are y'all assuming LeBron is shading lonzo?

Its a funny looking jumper, it's fun to try and do it. I was playing pick up last week and cats were trying it I'm between games. Not to shade just because it's fun to use.

Lonzo jumper is fun to intimate. I been doing for a while now while goofing around, I have gotten pretty good at it.

I can release it quickly, get tons of arc and backspin, it is just that have no control over where the ball is going, sometimes I don't even hit backboard

he's got it to the point where his son's are must see tv

it's a fairly common thing, to try to imitate someone's shot.

lonzo's an adult who will be lebron's opponent (or teammate) in a few months. no problem with them going at it. that's who lebron should be competing with, not LaVar.

all this talk is great set-up for the actual on-the-court play next season.
