How do you feel about girls/guys giving you the serious F-word and then a You right after?

IMO, it's plain old rude and unnecessary. Is it okay even when the person is really heated? Opinions anyone?

Don't really think too much of it ...

I think there are more offensive phrases .

followed w/ a laugh in a joking manner. depends.
eagle eyed while in arms reach. no.

Never in a professional environment.

But with close friends. Whatever.

it only hurts when its comin from someone you LOVE......other than that, i usually just laugh, or say it back with an exclamation and emphasis on the YOU!

jokin around its not a big deal to me. in an argument or disagreement its disrespectful.

Telling someone to suck your %@!% is way more offensive than *#$@ you. That can get you killed.

As JRS said, it's all about tone and the situation.

Certain friends I know that's the worst thing they'll say and that's as far as they'll ever go, so I'll take it more seriously. Otherfriends say it more casually or without real anger so I disregard it.

My friends swear heavily, jokingly as well as when angry. I have no problems saying it in a casual, joking manner. I don't usually say F you to someone, Ihave, but I usually don't because is escalates the situation quickly.

I find it to be very disrespectful...
But man I just want to know what makes these words bad?
What deemed these certain words as offensive.
What is the orgin of swear words?
Someone please help me understand.....

how do I feel? "

you too"
Thats about it. I dont know about getting all butthurt about it...

i personally don't even curse like that, but if a friend said it to me i would just take it as a joke.

haha. i say it like every other @#$%^&* sentence.
but not wheni'm around my parents or fam.
cause then i'll get @#$%^&* whooped.

i dont like when people swear obnoxiously loud in public. like at a restaurant, or anywhere old people or little kids are present.

i mean its no big deal if its just us chillin, but if there's a 70 year old dude behind us, have some respect dude

If used correctly, with the right tone and inflection... it'll set me off. I'll kill you.
