From the creator:
I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now more important than ever. In fact, NASA is an institution whose funding directly depends on how the public views them.

In NASA's defense, they have embraced social media. I guess my point is that they don't fully understand how to best use it. In all of their brilliance, NASA seems to have forgotten to share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to, leaving one of humanity's grandest projects with terrible PR and massive funding cuts.

Au contraire.  NASA seems to have done more than their share to "share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to".  However, this has often (and especially recently) lead to immediate back-peddling after their publicity machine over-extends and over-interprets a discovery and the scientific community hacks down their exaggerations.  The scientific community is still universally mocking their indefensible recent announcement of discovering an "arsenic bug" and "life built from toxic chemicals" - none of which is true, NASA simply speculates that it could happen - though it is obvious that their publicists made the laughable announcement precisely so that the public might become interested.  NASA has been wiping egg off their face like this for years.  The greatest gap that needs bridging is between the lay person and scientific/medical community.

"WE HUMANS ARE CAPABLE OF GREATNESS."

Despite what some of you think...

Edit:
I personally think this is the ultimate goal of The Illuminati (hate using that term now...)
To speed up and purify the "advancement" of the human race so that we can reach heights spoken of in the audio.

nice video.

do yourself a favor and also watch the video that shows up next after that one (Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot"). it's worth the 10 minutes.

Oh we're very capable of greatness, we're probably the most advanced species with the greatest potential ever to walk the Earth. The problem is, our actions and selfishness hinder the greatness we could be achieving.
