The G20 Summit hosted in Pittsburgh................So Far, So Good...

It went kinda well today, bein' as that nobody died and only like 50 people got arrested today......there was maaaaaad security Downtown and in Oakland,but the riots broke out in Lawrenceville and Bloomfield where there wasn't as much security. There's still another day left tho, so I don'tknow...I just know Downtown was a ghost town.........at 3pm...no cars or nothin'. Mostly all military, CIA, FBI, and other government officials....not tomention snipers on select rooftops and in certain windows.

I'm pretty much stuck in the house until the weekend 'cause I work Downtown [pretty much anyone who works Downtown has no work today or tomorrow], andI live in Oakland....I shoulda went to ATL with my family for the weekend. I would post videos of my footage I got, but there's cussin' and stuff.



If any of you know about the summit and what it's for, what do you think about it?

From my understanding theres a lot of protesting and stuff, what exactly are they protesting though?
I understand the world economy is all messed up right now, but what is the goal of the protestors?

When chicky threw her bike at the cops and then they threw her to the ground I lol'd. There was a big confrontation between the protestors and the boys oneof lv's side streets the media didn't even cover. Im ready for this #%++ to be over though

I was ready for this to be over before it even started.....makin' me miss hours of work and $#@$

I work right next to the Convention Center, so I beenoff since Tuesday. And I would've needed two forms of ID, get frisked by secret service, get metal wanded up, and get scanned by the dogs just to go in mybuilding. I don't have that to do.

I work downtown as well. No work yesterday or today FTW. They chose Pittsburgh because it is a city that "went through a economic downturn and is nowprospering" like Obama hopes America will be soon.

They hosted it in Pittsburgh because of the way the Pittsburgh economy has picked up after being long desolate from lacking industry. Furthermore, I believethey either have the most "green" buildings per capita and or the first "greed" conference center in the United States.
