So while writing my post for Jimmy Eat World's Clarity, I realized that this CD is now 10 years old as well.

The Get Up Kids have been disbanded (pun intended) for a while now, but they remain one of my favorites. If you've never heard of them or listened tothem, this is the place to start. I don't know what it is about this album, but it's just so... FUN. And catchy. But in a good way.

Check out Ten Minutes; Red Letter Day; I'm a Loner Dottie, a Rebel; and the gorgeous closer I'll Catch You.

I regret that I never got to see these guys live.

just looked at the tour dates... so far only west coast and midwest. hopefully they'll add some down here.
