yeah.. besides the carbon fiber plate....

The white toecap was larger on the retro than on the OG... and the leather on that bit was a bit more stiffer, IIRC.
And a different zipper on the OG, but I'll take the sturdiness of the retro zipper any day.

so, my soles are starting to separate - is $400 too steep to have them taken apart, then re-glued? The guy i'm going through does such good work but... that price though.....

but then again, you get what you pay for, right?

Only color that matters are the og black white. Never forget seeing em in high school for the first time on someone’s feet. Blew my mind lol. But after one game the zipper broke. Common issue with these. Then the son of glove came out in 700 colors. What a time.

The retros were complete garbage compared to the OGs. I mean aesthetically froM afar ya they looked good.

Up close the brand really screwed us over:

- Nickel size zoom in the heel, the original had a massive bag in the heel and articulated forefoot zoom
-Translucent outsole (red portions), retros didn’t.
-Carbon Plate on the OGs plastic on the retros….
-Exaggerated toe cap on the retros, the OGs were thinner and more sleek
-OGs had a stitched insole to get your foot closer to the zoom, retros had a standard insole.
-White pair had stretch leather, retros had nasty rat fur on the inside

And before you say who cares they’re just retros, the Zoom GP retro with the ratchet cover had real big Zoom in the heel and forefoot and real carbon plates….nike better come correct this time around….
