When I heard that Baz Luhrmann was directing I pulled one of these:

but it looks like he really pulled it off.

I think his style and the excess of the story are going to compliment each other perfectly. I just hope he takes it easy on the modern music, despite that it still looks great.

It looks like it'll be good. It's been my opinion for a while that nobody would get this right but seeing DiCaprio gives me hope.

At worst, it'll be this year's Shutter Island for him.

I'm interested and nervous for what Baz Luhrman would do with this. On the one hand, an exact adaptation that plays it safe would probably be awful and uninspired. So if you give it to a director like Luhrman, he can do something different with it.

Django Unchained (I know this is Waltz main role, but Leo as a villain will be great. Hearing some of the reviews of people who saw 7 minutes of the movie say he was great in what they saw)
