yea.. unless you're going go chip Kelly style and go from the gun overwhelming majority of the snaps with simpler reads.. don't see it making sense

Weinke is a wild card though. He might be good for Goff.
Weinke seems very punchable

I've actually read a lot of good things about Weinke + coaching. A lot of decent prospects came out of the training center if I recall.
I'll see if I can find it.

So does Dilfer, but he knows a helluva lot about playing quarterback.
Why draft a guy #1 overall and NOT play him? I don't understand. Let Goff get out there and take his lumps.
If he's not ready, he's not ready. Didn't work for Tim Couch, David Carr and JaMarcus Russell. I think it's much ado about nothing. Rams are 2-1 and whether people think it's legit or not is irrelevant...They're looking to the future and it's just a matter of differing opinions on philosophy. I have a hard time seeing the big deal in this.
Goff never played in a pro offense, I think starting him would be a huge mistake by the Rams

He's so bad and far behind that throwing him out there could ruin his confidence/ingrain bad habits.

really? id take a look![]()
Was he projected to be the starter when drafted? Or was he viewed as a project from the jump?

There was another one but that was a quick google search. Covers essentially where he was from and some players.

I don't know, I remember talking about him in October when I heard his name and started watching his film
Lynch, Goff and Kessler are my top 3 QB's
