Cam can't talk for ****. Dude really does sound like a slave when he talks. Cam lost me as a fan and I hope he becomes the stereotypical black qb that can run better than he throws and fizzles out of the league in 3 years.

Well this doesn't sound racist at all.

wow. r-e-l-a-x

Cam didn't change. This is who he is. I mentioned it last week...he's never been the most articulate player in the league. He's never been one to give much thought to possible ramifications of his public comments. It's just whatever is on his mind and sounds right.

The issue is Cam (partly through his own doing) became a symbol for greater things, and people started placing their own projections on him. During the peak of Cam love from last season, some people were reaching with the parallels to other situations, and it just went off track from the real ****. I still love what he represents in the eyes of the 'Murica crowd and the Middle America folks who wrote those letters to the newspaper. I'm not gonna put him on a higher pedestal than that and go wild with the comparisons though. It just wouldn't be valid.

Watching Hard Knocks has rid me of all the worries I had that the Rams would be good this season.

Tavon Austin calling himself a "savage" and saying he plays "like I'm 6'3"

Okay Tavon...

Word,he's at the point where he's big enough to say whatever he wants without having to worry about losing opportunities though imo.

Being MVP and a face of the league along with being one of the most marketable athletes right now gives you a certain amount of leeway unless you're doing criminal stuff :lol

Like I said, I'm mixed and I didn't realize just how black I was until I went to the states for boarding school

What? :lol

Elaborate

Don't get me wrong, we have our racial issues down here in the Bahamas.. But it ain't like in the states

But I always identified myself as mixed.. Slightly lighter than Jesse Williams.. Whenever I go through Miami airport, I get hit with the Spanish real quick even after I say "no hablo espanol"

Our pollution is overwhelmingly black and we'll crack jokes.. And what is considered "white" down here is kinda loose depending on where you are.. Our issues are more because we are a young country and a bit of ignorance (like some of our views on Chinese investors vs the leeway given any white foreigner)

But as far as white and black post like 80s, it really comes up with our politics and then convenience.. But moreso kids don't really have an issue when they're kids cause parents can't isolate you like they can over there.. But kids will go away and/or take on the baggage of their parents once they get a little older

But to my point about, went to an overwhelmingly white prep school in Jacksonville.. You figure out real quick where you fit in within American society

Yeah I'm not huge fan of the south but it happens everywhere. Being lightskinned with really light grey eyes (and not being mixed) has made some fun moments in my life.

every time I'm asked if/what I'm mixed with there's an uncontrollable hint of disappointment on the persons face. Like they were expecting an exotic back story and I let them down :lol

Cam's always been like that regarding race topics though, just two weeks ago he said the criticism is beyond race. Even when he said that he's an African American QB and that he may scare a lot of people, he later said that it wasn't about race http://m.nydailynews.com/sports/foo...int-pants-flight-super-bowl-article-1.2515582
I disagree with him, but he's entitled to his opinion. He didn't bad mouth Colin at all anyway

Aguayo knocked down a 50 yarder in the middle of that tropical storm last night :hat

BOSTON (CBS) — Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison was cleared on Wednesday on allegations of PED use. On Thursday, teammate DeAngelo Williams celebrated on Twitter.

Williams, a 33-year-old veteran of 10 NFL seasons, knows the league pretty well, and he’s had his own fights with the league. So he knows that it’s rare for a player to emerge from an NFL investigation unscathed, going so far as to create a new rule in honor of Tom Brady to explain the phenomenon.

“D-Bo [Harrison] beat his case. He had a lot of charges pending, man. The NFL was out here trying to get him,” Williams said. “We’re just so excited that he beat his case. He’s a free man. Shoutout to Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews as well on beating their case, man.

“When the NFL investigator drop a case on you, man, they try to Tom Brady you. That’s what we call it now when they try to double-back, the double jeopardy. Ain’t no such thing as double jeopardy. They call that Tom Brady now. It’s the Tom Brady rule.”

Williams hasn’t exactly taken up the Patriots’ cause throughout the whole DeflateGate saga, but he’s at least paid enough attention to know that if the NFL wants you to take the fall for something, you most certainly will.

In any event, Harrison and all of his other completely naturally built colleagues in the NFL will begin their season next week. Tom Brady, who might’ve known about ball boys marginally messing with some footballs, will be forced to miss four full weeks of football.

The Tom Brady Rule has certainly caught the attention of NFL players, who are now perpetually on the lookout for the next time the NFL decides to hunt a star player.
This right here should be emphasized.

It's a shame many folks couldn't (and still don't) get the grasp of this, or chose to stick their collective heads in the sand. Good for him and the rest of the players who caught on.

Cam stays using words out of context.

:lol it happens to the best of us. Sometimes it just sounds good but it's really not what you meant.

Like you in that very post. "Out of context" sounded good, but you meant that he uses malapropisms when he talks (which is true)

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
