Oh I know I have.

I'm reading folks talkin about sacks now, giving credit to dominant Oline's rather than rookie QB's, supporting casts, soon someone will mention coaching......

And yet, for years on here I was told none of that **** mattered. :lol

"The tables have turned!"

No clue why get worked up over QBs not starting right away.. Every other position guys are gradually brought along too.. Tackles will play guard.. WRs are 3rd or 4th guys.. Cbs are nickel guys

Skill guys play special teams

people will always pick and choose what they need to in order to build up their argument. it's like shopping for ingredients to make a meal :lol

that'll never change. whether it's russell v luck or colin kaepernick's protest or supporting trump. whatever is convenient at the moment...

Well a #1 pick QB hasn't sat week 1 since Jamarcus, and he was holding out. Also the Rams kind of need to win now.So it matters that he needs to sit

These last few pages will be hilarious if/when Goff/Wentz become top QBs in the league.

Your argument was he should've sat because the O-Line was bad.

How does that make any sense?

They didn't upgrade the line much I. the offseason really but you would feel better with him starting now?

You don't see how that makes no sense?

He wouldn't have the reps that he already has now and would still have a bad O-Line.

Similar to what you want with Wentz.

my argument is sitting a QB for further development isn't a bad thing but you keep hammering home THEY MUST START since they were a high pick

That was never my argument.

Just that drafting a QB at a spot that high and having him sit for a whole year behind a mediocre QB on a team with no contending chances doesn't help and there's no track record of it helping.

Meanwhile there is a track record of guys getting the keys and succeeding, especially recently as guys come in more NFL ready.

But I'm done with this, I've given you nothing but data and you still don't get it.

Like I said believe what you want, I don't care, especially after all this.

I think you can very easily kill a player at a non-QB position by playing him too early too

But again, as with QBs, depends on the guy and the situation

how can you measure a track record of it helping?

there is nothing to measure against, how do we know busts that started right away wouldn't have been good QB's if they sat a year

Just named a bunch of QB's earlier but ok man. :lol

Like I said, think what you want, it's over.

btw did any non-Pats fans see Mingo last night? dude was EVERYWHERE. hopefully he can keep that going in the regular season against 1st/2nd stringers. but g'damn, he was impressive last night

Yep...of course the Patriots will end up making him look good. And Bishop Sankey is hot garbage, you don't want him. He wouldn't even be an upgrade over any of the Patriots RB's.

Speaking of QB's...I'm watching this Broncos-Cardinals game and the Broncos are wasting their time not just starting Lynch right now. There's no way that they finish the season with Siemien or however you spell it as their starting QB. Lynch actually has the talent to be something.

lynch still needs to fine tune areas of the offense. trev has a yr under the offense. lynch should be ready to start 2017 (unless trev stinks it up).

Lynch is raw as hell right now, I think starting Trevor is the wise choice but I'm thinking they wish they could re-do who they brought in for QB

Bradford would have been perfect for the Broncos

eagles are looking to trade our 2015 2nd round pick eric rowe.. wouldn't surprise me if we were trying to move our 2015 1st round pick

thank god for Jordan hicks.. I thought eric rowe was solid enough as a rookie given the situation he was thrown into plus our DC not being that great

Has there ever been a second or third round pick to get cut after preseason? They were talking about rookies getting cut last night on TV and I couldn't think of any high pics that were cut.
I feel like I remember new England doing this

pretty sure it has happened somewhat recently, talking like post 2000
