Yeah, I also don't experience racism period because my generation isn't founded on racism or counter-racism. Hopefully everyone else will learn to realize that neither of those solve anything and we'll be able to move on. All that's happening now will just further dig the hole for everyone. But you don't even have the life experience or world view to remotely understand what you're talking about.People fail to realize that a minority does not share the same opinions of the majority. A few racist cops suddenly means all cops are racist... all cops are racist turns into all white people are racist... then we're just raising another generation based on hate. Nothing will change from that.
I'm not talking about Kaepernick. I'm talking about people straight up saying things like "**** this flag and everything it stands for". People taking it too far. I agree with what Kaepernick did. I wish someone like Cam or Wilson would do that. I wish an entire team would do it, just not on 9/11.That's just wrong, man. You think that Civil Rights protesters were being "respectful" by the standards of the day? No way.
Social justice warriors fighting inequality with irrational means expecting positive resultsPeople will never learn to get along unless everyone tries. Being straight up disrespectful =/= equal treatment for anyone, in any case, ever.![]()
I actually have a positive view of the United States and our history despite the wrongs we have done. But what you're saying is totally offbase.Name five countries with better cultural blending and respect for all races and genders than us. While we aren't perfect, we're far from what we're painted to be. In a country with 303 MILLION people, a few hundred wrongful deaths is really a drop in the ocean compared to the horrible atrocities that plague countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America on the reg.
People fail to realize that a minority does not share the same opinions of the majority. A few racist cops suddenly means all cops are racist... all cops are racist turns into all white people are racist... then we're just raising another generation based on hate. Nothing will change from that.
And pointing out and trying to end racism isn't "raising a generation based on hate". Kaepernick is protesting against hate.
I'm talking more about awwsome saying that this country is founded on hatred and has awful moral fabrics, when comparitively speaking...not really.
Kaepernick is doing a good job. People out there saying "**** the police" and throwing **** at random cops and doing extra for no reason are just further making issues worse. I never said anything against Kaepernick or sitting out the anthem, I stood up against the "Moral Fabrics" and the huge disrespect towards the nation and flag for no reason other than to be a dbag.
As stated previously, the "Moral Fabrics" comment is what irked me. That's ridiculous. Multitudes more opportunities and equalities here than anywhere else in the world.yeah. Just cause we have it good compared to a lot of other place doesn't mean ish and we can't complain or get mad about the bad. That's nonsense. But you don't even have the life experience or world view to remotely understand what you're talking about.
I'm not even trying to come at you because of your age but I honestly don't know how else to put it.
This is all right. I'm against anyone being grouped into one huge demographic. Police included. Police brutality in Maryland =/= the police in Dallas are horrible and should be killed etc. Grouping people into groups and judging period is wrong. In all ways. And EVERYONE needs to be held accountable, even anti-white protestors. The thing about police brutality is this...
I don't care what color the cop is when he murders someone. If his colleagues won't call him out then they are all guilty. The few cases of police brutality that have been documented recently is a problem that's gone on for decades.
For example the my main chick is white from North Carolina. She has a rap sheet a mile long. She has told me of stories where she's been pulled over driving with her ex husband in the passenger seat and white friend in the back. The cop stops them then proceeded to press her black husband for ID etc. the two white occupants that included her as the driver aren't spoken to.
Nobody should be judged, ever, based on anything other than their individual actions and self. No "well he's black so..." or "he's a cop so..." or anything like that. Everyone is a damn person who makes their own decisions, no group should ever be punished or persecuted based on misconceptions founded in outlier cases etc. People are people.
