the cat killed her. its an animorph.

Man I hate you. I just watched 4 episodes in a row after you said this and made sure not to come back in the thread til I finished the series. Got my *** up at 3:20AM on a damn Wednesday.

lol those socks tho, should be interesting to hear the comments.

LOL @ execs hating Kaep on Rae Carruth levels.

That man actually tried to end two lives. There should be no comparison.

the collector the collector quick fantasy ? - Garcon worth holding onto or should I dump him? What's his outlook if I ever needed to start him?

I don't play fantasy. I'd like to think he should have a big season. We're a pass heavy offense more so then previous years.

He's going to put up #'s with Reed especially with Docson's health up in the there/it being his first year.

Contract year for him and DJax. Not sure how many targets he'll get this season with Crowder potentially breaking out as well. If you needed to start him I think he'd be an okay bet for 5 catches and 50-60 yds. Nothing special. He's not much of a TD threat.

Kap got the big contract and don't care about being the villain. :hat

Just wish he could actually ball on the field to make it that much sweeter.

Like I said, I'm mixed and I didn't realize just how black I was until I went to the states for boarding school

What?

Elaborate
What I think he's getting at is the experience of a good number of mixes people go through. In the states race is viewed visually so once he came here people saw him as black and treated him like he was just another black american despite him being mixed. The shade of your skin can have a real affect on how people around you treat you and interact with you (assuming he's a brown to darker skinned mixed person or that he's just mixed in general I assume this is the point he's trying to make)

At least i assume thats what he's getting at. Please correct me if im reading what you said wrong @itsaboutthattime

Don't get me wrong, we have our racial issues down here in the Bahamas.. But it ain't like in the states

But I always identified myself as mixed.. Slightly lighter than Jesse Williams.. Whenever I go through Miami airport, I get hit with the Spanish real quick even after I say "no hablo espanol"

Our pollution is overwhelmingly black and we'll crack jokes.. And what is considered "white" down here is kinda loose depending on where you are.. Our issues are more because we are a young country and a bit of ignorance (like some of our views on Chinese investors vs the leeway given any white foreigner)

But as far as white and black post like 80s, it really comes up with our politics and then convenience.. But moreso kids don't really have an issue when they're kids cause parents can't isolate you like they can over there.. But kids will go away and/or take on the baggage of their parents once they get a little older

But to my point about, went to an overwhelmingly white prep school in Jacksonville.. You figure out real quick where you fit in within American society

Boomer Esiason can suck my ****

I cannot say it in the strongest, most direct way, that it’s an embarrassment and it’s about as disrespectful as any athlete has ever been,” Esiason said, per Bob Glauber of Newsday. “And I don’t care what the cause is. The NFL football field is not a place for somebody to further their political ambitions. Can you imagine if a player went out on the field with a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and let’s vote for (Donald) Trump? It’s the same thing.”

Many have applauded Kaepernick for using his status as an NFL player to call attention to a social issue, but Esiason isn’t on board with the message, either.

“He is severely under-informed, and I welcome him to go ride in a cop car and take numerous 911 calls, going into places where guns and violence are everyday occurrences,” Esiason added. “Put on that blue (police) uniform and put the shield on and see what it’s like to put your life in harm’s way every single day, and then get back to me when you’re making $35,000 or $40,000 a year, as opposed to the $11 million he’s making.”

While Esiason did point out that Kaepernick is entitled to his opinion, he is incensed that the 28-year-old chose to express it at work.

“It’s an NFL football field, and he’s wearing an NFL uniform,” Esiason said. “At the end of the day, if he wants to do it in a news conference, if he wants to do it and talk about it at the ESPY’s and talk about it at an event he’s having, more power to him. Those are the places you should be doing it, like LeBron James is doing it, like Carmelo Anthony is hoping to do it.

Ppl really out chea acting like Kap taking a seat for a few mins is the worst / most embarrassing thing ever :{

Black ppl ain't even really start wildin yet considering what we go thru , **** really gon hit the fan if they can't handle a somebody sittin for an anthem

How long white ppl been bugging about the 'black lives matter' movement or other more vocal forms of protest?

Telling people what they should and shouldn't say.. What they should and shouldn't do.. Hell putting out and signing petitions to get Jesse Williams fired for what he said at the BET awards

And yet kaep takes a very very very VERY quiet and peaceful form of protest and folks can't handle it

I'm saying.

This is getting borderline ridiculous, the lack of understanding by these old white dudes in the NFL is appalling considering all of them make their livings off the back of mostly black men.

Those people who say theres no oppression/no systemic racism would they switch places with a minority?

Not switch places with some athletic or talented Black dude you see in the media.

Like just switch places with a Black version of yourself?

Like Paul Finebaum who says theres no type of oppression...would he switch places with a 61 yr old Black man from Tennessee?
