It sucks man.
Outside of prime LT he has never had a consistent running game. (Donald Young was our starter a few years ago :x )
Melvin obviously had a tough rookie year, now this year he's looking a little more sharp with some more consistent blocking.
Our O-Line has always been injured, last year he was playing with a 4th STRING CENTER... 4th STRING!! Look it up
Keenan keeps getting injured, Gates is always banged up now.
Norv Turner as head coach for most of his prime :x
Defense rarely helps the offense with any take-aways.
Etc, Etc.
I can keep going, but yeah...because of all those things, people look at Phil and just go "meh"... and its crazy, because if he had even half the supporting cast/coaching as some of these other QB's do, hed be putting up 5k yards, 40 tds+, deep playoff runs, etc.
But he doesnt, and people who dont follow the team just think its him who is trash or mediocre.

Our O-Line needs to stay healthy this year... We have a beefy O-Line that can give MG some running room. Need to develop Watt as a FB... That position seems to have vanished over the years. I mean our last good FB that I remember was still NealIt sucks man.
