I wasn't confident in this Minnesota game. That defense against our O line is gonna be awful for us. Now we not gonna have Jennings, Vereen, Apple or DRC. We usually show up for games against good teams but damn.

that's definitely a tall task without all those guys. and without jennings and vareen, you're basically one dimensional. not great going up against a defense like that. might have to use MIN for my survivor pick this week haha

Almost guaranteed we will get smashed

not saying he's hot seat level...but he's one of the more overrated coaches in the league IMO
very overrated. That D has been garbage for a minute. Cowher was a much better coach.

*waiting for that guy who comes in and says everyone is considered overrated or washed on nt.

Starting after their loss in Minnesota on September 18th the Green Bay Packers will go 42 days before playing another road game, at Atlanta on October 30th.
Good grief

A-Frod better show out until Halloween.
Our guy Chester took one look at this schedule and switched up the avy/sig combo with the QUICKNESS

It was so lowkey I thought someone was imitating your shtick.

Much higher odds of getting The Curse byke on track with Matty Tap Water rather than The Best QB on the Planet.

:rollin @ Tomlin being interested in being an assistant coach behind Del Rio for the Raiders

If dude got fired he'd have 5 head coaching vacancies waiting for him to choose from in the off-season

I think he means they fire they head coach and hire him. Not as an assistant.

Detroit Lions cornerback Nevin Lawson on Thursday said the NFL has admitted that his 66-yard pass interference penalty against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday should not have been flagged.

Lawson said one of his coaches told him about the league's response.

Lions coach Jim Caldwell said he is "not allowed" to comment whether the NFL reached out to the Lions about the call. On Sunday, Caldwell said he didn't believe a flag should have been thrown on the play.

"You asked me a question on Sunday: Did I think that should have been called? I told you no, right?" Caldwell said. "And I haven't changed from that stance, even today. I think that's pretty clear."
Yikes.

@SneakerPro Be safe.
Lawson was flagged for the call -- the longest penalty in at least 15 years, according to ESPN Stats & Information research -- after Packers wide receiver Trevor Davis tripped on a long route at the start of the second quarter during Detroit's 34-27 loss to Green Bay. The Packers scored on the drive to jump out to a 21-3 lead.

Anyone wanna take a wild guess as to who benefited from the previous longest penalty? Hint: You don't have to go back 15 years for the result.

@Chester McFloppy @Elpablo21 YES.

The previous long during that time period was a 60-yard pass interference call against Cleveland Browns cornerback Mike Adams in a 2010 game against the Baltimore Ravens. ESPN's penalty database starts with the 2001 season.

One more thing on ol' Jumpball Joe...you wanna know how I realized it's a slow news day? I'm over here reading the longest penalty article, and this headline caught my eye from ESPN's news column so I clicked it...
Joe Flacco's wife gives birth to the couple's fourth child in five years
Joe Flacco's wife gave birth to the couple's fourth child in five years when Evelyn Renee was born Tuesday. Evelyn weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

The Baltimore Ravens quarterback isn't chasing Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who has eight children. Two years ago, Flacco said he would be satisfied with five children, which just happens to match his uniform number.

Evelyn is the first daughter for Flacco and his wife, Dana, after having three boys.

“It was definitely different. Seeing a girl come out after three boys was a bit of a shock,” Flacco told the team. “Everybody is beyond overjoyed, beyond pumped.”

The ever-growing Flacco family has welcomed a new child on a near-annual basis over the past five years:

 • Stephen was born June 13, 2012

 • Daniel was born Sept. 14, 2013

 • Francis was born Jan. 20, 2015

 • Evelyn was born Sept. 27, 2016
The Ravens didn't have to worry about Flacco missing a game because of the birth of his first daughter. In 2013, Flacco chose to play in Baltimore's home opener even though Daniel was born an hour before kickoff.

Flacco is used to being part of a large family, as he’s the oldest of six siblings.
The bolded part.
