Yeah, it does make sense. You don't get to call a free play where someone lined up 2 yards offside a guaranteed touchdown.
"But nah, everything was good on that half of the field"... That's not how NFL defenses work.

Yeah he did have that Week 1 meltdown when the Skins got crushed by Pittsburgh
But he stuck with his man Turnt and Washington looks poised to make the playoffs again this year.

That week 1 breakdown was a result of Washington just looking awful. Worse game we played all season by far. Coming off a playoff season with hope we've finally turned the corner, seeing us get crushed game one my brain wasn't ready for.
Calvin appears to be addition by subtraction. Calvin was a great WR. My issues with him weren't his game. IN MY OPINION Calvin didn't seem to love the game and it didn't kill him to lose. Calvin will probably be a HOF one day. He can be that but just not a top 10 all time WR to me.

I set myself up for being wrong on a week to week basis. I pick Washington to win every week. Knowing we aren't going 16-0. My league and player analysts however is usually more right then wrong.

Everyone talking about the refs this morning but the Raiders scored 14 points in damn near 7 plays in the 4th. Nobody wants to talk about that? Lets talk about how the Raiders attacked 55 in the passing game and pretty much won off that.
Also, how about Bill O Brien punting with 1 timeout left? If you're gunna do that at least make Brock throw past the ******* sticks on 3rd down. Bill o brien should be thankful for the ref controversy otherwise everyone would be discussing what a ****** job he did managing the game.

AP may return in December for the Vikings. Thursday's game Lions vs Vikings shouldn't be overlooked. Big game for both teams. Steelers vs Colts is interesting too. Both teams need that win.

It was the Texans game all the way and Brock wasn't THAT bad. You have to give it to BoB for not believing in his squad. That 4th and 5 WAS EASY for Brock.
