I know you have a love for Mclaren's but that 458 was pretty much flawless. But the turbo's on the 488 are a major turn off...

I will reason with you cause I know your a man of sound mind....One thing Ferrari had me on was the beauty of their interiors...
Everything just looks amazing.
Mclaren's interior looks dully only because some of those materials on the dash...should be changed to leather...

One thing that I never liked, and it's not a Ferrari thing, were leather interiors, especially in brown. Maybe I'd take a black leather interior (I just don't like the warm color tones), but I see your point... that Italian craftsmanship and quality really is in a league of their own. More refined and detailed, I'll give you that.
Having said that, I'd take bare carbon fibre and alcantara anyday.

Not sure, but according to that article... only 2! So that means it's that grey one and the white one you saw?
How about the black one Tiff tested on Top Gear back in the mid 90's?
Surely, if I purchase an F1, I can request the kit from MSO?
