that would be a crazy fight 8o  i gotta go with my dude kron, tho.

them rickson genetics > *

Kron is a lot smaller though and hasn't been very active on the comp scene. Would be interesting.

I think Ryan is competing in the next EBI 9 too. LHW comp which i'm pretty sure has Keenan in the bracket also.

Holy half a million Batman. This all makes much more sense. I knew it would make sense. But this makes sense.

I would assume he was able to get PPV shares. So he can likely hit the 3-4M mark easy right... 8o

Not even mad about Stipe and Overeem's pay. UFC finally stepping up?

werdum making nice money. no wonder on one of those vlogs he was locking up his 50k watch. :lol was thinking how he get that

how do the lower guys make ends. they have to be working another job on the side, right? barely covers their expenses

CM and the ufc made out like bandits :lol
got a cool 500k for a couple minutes and most likey ppv buys that will bump it up significantly more

dana probably changing his mind and trying to find an opponent for his second match after he sees the numbers

I don't get how anyone other than Punk was getting more than half a million. There literally wasn't any star power on the card besides Punk.

Reem's contract is crazy.

Faber has to have a bigger name in the states (not overseas) and just getting a quarter.

Yeah but he's the fastest man in the world. And he only eats goat meat. And unlike Punk, he's the best in the world.

So how about Dos Santos/Werdum and Cane/Stipe? And Browne/Reem 2?

That division has been pretty bereft of new talent. LHW is in the same situation somewhat.

Listening to Rothwell on last weeks MMA hour, he was saying the winner of Werdum/Browne, or Cain, or JDS don't deserve a title shot. And that they should all fight each other before the next contender gets announced :rollin

That's what happens when you're disillusioned after you get TORCHED by JDS and have to drop out against Werdum.

The memory in this sport is short lived. You're only as good as your last fight. I remember when people were saying title shot after he subbed Barnett.

Now people saying "Rothwell who?" :rollin

Not surprised reem got a bag. He was a free agent after all and going into a title fight

Stipe making 600k was somewhat surprising although these champs should be banking half a mill per fight. Especially someone as entertaining as stipe

Browne and reem shared a moment before the fights this weekend, reem told Browne werdum doesn't have knockout power so Browne should be fine

I more see a Barnett Overeem fight, possibly rothwell since reem is medically suspended indefinitely

Nothing against CM Punk make half million for his mma debut. But I think champs should been make that too, people who dedicated a entire life.

this dude cost himself a red panty night
should've just fought conor at less than 100 pct if he wanted that big payday

fighters need to realize, you get paid not for your skill but how many viewers you can bring in and for filling seats

I feel for RDA. But sadly marketable name = PPV sales.

I watched Chasing Tyson and sadly this is a reality. Holyfield was viewed as an uninteresting fighter whereas the casuals clamored for Tyson despite getting knocked out, rape allegations, prison, etc.

Again, the company needs to take on some of that responsibility itself but there is a wealth of talent to garner interest from the casual fan...i.e. Showtime kick.

And RDA lol. Nate capitalized on the opportunity. They're talking trilogy. Nate possibly making more than $2-3 million from the whole affair. Mucho red panties.

Win lose, money's already in the bank. Agreed he should've went in limping and make excuses after the fight.
