Ray Longo literally breaks down why it was a bad stoppage at the start.

We’re questioning Dan Mirgliota (sp). During two fights, he made some seriously bad decisions which impacted the outcome of two fights.
Longo said it would have been a justified stoppage if dan called it right away and said Rozenstruik was lucky

Dans choice to wait until overeem stood up to call it was curious but still the right call to wave it off. There was literally no outrage from the community over the the result. Not even from overeem himself. You arguing just to argue

The separate issue of dan being a **** ref is a debate that I’ve already delved into with the Michael page situation and some of you didn’t agree with me then

So who you guys taking this weekend for the main event? I’m actually leaning Covington right now. Never thought I’d say that

I got Usman. The way he was able to neutralize T Wood was impressive and with both guys wrestling cancelling the others out most likely I see Usman controlling the fight and potentially getting a finish late.

I'm preparing myself for a reality where Colby is the undisputed champ. I think it's a toss up. I'm definitely looking forward to it, one of the more intriguing matchups in recent times

I think Colby might take it. Both have crazy pace but Colby mixes his wresting up with striking.

I actually sort of want Usman to lose so we can get the Colby vs Jorge fight.
I would love to see that match up. As things have unfolded with the Diaz brothers, I think Jorge will choose between Conor (assuming he wins) and the title fight. Imo it'll be difficult to turn down the Conor fight if it's available

“No, we’re not really. Time waits for no man. Nick’s got his own thing going on. When he gets cleared by USADA and everything comes correct, who knows when that time will be. I’m not waiting for no man,” Masvidal said to FanSided MMA. “So, if it happens, it happens. I’m just waiting for the biggest paycheck possible. If it’s Conor [McGregor] if it’s Floyd [Mayweather]. If it’s Nick. The quickest one and the one with the most dollar signs attached to it. That’s all it is.

“I’ve been in this sport for 16 years and to those new people listening or just saying, “Oh, he’s a money-hungry wh**e”. You’re right. I’m a wh**e. But, I’m also money hungry because I’ve been doing this 16 years. I fought the best of the best. Never said no, never had an injury to have me pulled out of a fight. I never missed weight. I played everything to the way that you’re supposed to, to earn these paychecks, so now I’m in a position to get big paychecks. I’m going to cash in on them. No matter what. I got different lottery tickets in my hand. It’s just a matter of time when I stop being lazy, go to the gas station and turn the scratch-offs in because I’ve been working for them. I already got them. Now, I just gotta go cash them in.”

Gotta watch the countdown later. Parlayed Aldo, Max, Usman in a bet and also straight bet with both aldo and max

Not a bad play.

Also the Countdown features a Colby montage with his paid escorts/models with ASAP Fergs New Level playing lol. Guy is a clown.

Cowboy training with Roufus

“Kind of interesting note, I’ll switch gears, Paul Felder and Anthony [Pettis], you know they’re friends with Cowboy Cerrone, so I’m going to be getting a visit right after Christmas from Cowboy. He’s coming out to do a little training with us, and I’m pretty excited about it actually.”

Kinda think Volkanovski has the better chance of the upset between that and the main event. Them City KB boys ain't no joke.

The thought of both Tony and Cowboy winning (ruining the UFC brass' (read: Dana) plan for a quick rematch for Connor) is making my loins tingle.

How Covington went from afterthought to one of the sport's most polarizing figures dates back to June 17, 2017, when he beat Dong Hyun Kim. UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby told Lambert after that fight that the UFC had no interest in re-signing Covington when his contract was up after his next fight.

Lambert says he told Covington he shouldn't alter his fighting style, but "there's some other s--- you can change."

After decisioning former title challenger Demian Maia on Oct. 28, 2017, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Covington called Brazil a "dump" and its fans "filthy animals" while standing in the Octagon.

Example A of why "the UFC has the best fighters in the world" assumption is not fact. Dude is a complete POS but at his weight class he's clearly legit, yet was about to end up on the chopping block.

Either way, hopefully Usman crushes his dreams this Saturday

I think all his trolling aside that should be said louder about them willing to cut a fighter that keeps winning

They traded DJ. Nuff said.

winning doesn’t matter to them. It’s I’d you move the needle and are a company man/woman.
