  • Watching team lose championship game (even worse if it's close)?
  • Watching team get eliminated from playoffs?
  • Watching team lose a heartbreaker/last second game?
  • Watching team get [emmitt]blowed[/emmitt] out
  • Watching star player get traded away/sign elsewhere?
  • Being a Lions fan?
  • Team failing to live up to expectations?
  • Constant losing seasons?
I say losing a close game, especially when your team fought to get back into it. It just leaves you soooooo deflated. If it's football, (ala last secondFG) it could mess up your Monday and possibly the rest of your week

What are your most painful parts of being a fan

  • Seeing your team sold to someone who had no intention of keeping it in the city. And then seeing the team moving to another city

constant losing seasons. for sure i still get a little heated when the nfl replays the tuck rule game every month, but even sadder is that i sit and watch itknowing whats gonna happen just because it reminds me of the years in which we actually won games.

Watching Kobe not turn back into #8 in the finals, losing on the big stage
Not making the playoffs (patriots)

- Watching your rivals win a championship and knowing that you're at least 2 years away from doing the same.
- Giving games away to other teams.

rooting for a city's teams that haven't done anything memorable in atleast a decade. a place where, except for hockey, is VERY hard to attract theelite players. and the hard part is, none of the teams seem to be on solid foundation where you can say "this team will be one of the best in ____years".

its inevitable that any one of toronto's teams will reach the pinnacle, later rather than sooner, and it'll be sweet then

Watching your team lose to an inferior team because they didn't take them serious enough.

I agree with this one the most. Losing the Rose Bowl to Texas was

also, knowing you can probably contribute more than a certain bum on the squad.

49ers: alex smith
dodgers: andruw jones
lakers: vladbad

All the Talent in the WORLD. My favorite player EVER. Gone.

Watching team lose championship game (even worse if it's close)?
Nothing will ever come close to the pain I felt in 94 with the Knicks, 01 Devils and 01 WS...

- Living in Dallas and have every sports team around you suck, on their way to sucking, or have been sucking for years. It really is frustrating rooting forthe Cowboys, Mavs, and Rangers.

i would say being of the bay area teams has to be the worse....

i kid, but i agree with watching ESPN after a loss. Astros in the world series, USC loss in the rose bowl, Rockets not making it past the first round. i didntwatch ESPN for weeks

My bday's at the end of Jan and when Philly lost 3 straight NFCCG's

plus the last 2 years Mets collapse

watching your team make horrible off season moves...or no moves at all (word to the DBacks...smh)

Losing the championship game, especially if it's close. The only reason you root for your team is for the championship.

Losing game 7 of the WCF like the Blazers did to the Lakers.

Losing SB XL when Seattle had such an amazing season and was the better team but didn't execute when it mattered (Jeramey Stevens...).

Getting Swept by a team that was cursed and hadn't won a series in for ever, Cardinals against Red Sox.

Getting hammered at HOME by the Ducks with a trip to the Rose Bowl so close.

That is how my teams have done in their recent big games since I remember most.

At least the Cardinals won a World Series in 06 and I got to be there or else I would think I am cursed. But thats why I love it, because when any of thoseteams do win, it is going to make it

much better.

Loosing for the last 8 years when having potential win almost all of them but no heart.
Loss to arizone in ws.
Watching red sox win after been ahead.
