The NBA Draft Thread

Everyone hating on the Celtics :rollin

Jaylen Brown is going to flourish under Brad Stevens coaching

:rollin

Maybe the Celtics whiffed on the big deal everyone thought was coming but I'm a bit confused at the backlash to the rest of their picks.

I thought it was well known this was a pretty weak draft. Who are the players you all think they should be drafting?

That's the thing, they're not supposed to be drafting. These 'assets' were meant to be traded

Celtics still have 23, 31, 35, 45, 51, 58 pick

:{

:Lol

How's them Lakers doing though? Ingram and Luke :smokin 20 wins next season 8)

Ainge could easily still come out on top of tonight if he hits up Vlade sometime soon...

cousins dont wanna play for the celtics
Another thing about the Celtics that alotta ppl fail to realize is not many NBA players want to actually live in Boston, unless they a true championship contender ..that's why they never been big players in free agency

Man, Ainge has never gave a **** about going for the risky pick. I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Ol' boy just got a contract extension a few weeks ago too so he really DGAF.

His trade history is a hell of a lot better than his drafting so odds might be slim, but dude HAS to hit on these picks if they're not moving. Jimmy Butler ain't walking through that door any more.

C's owner been promising fireworks for 3 consecutive seasons. The hype is there, which is obviously working against those dudes right about now. Media and fans are gonna turn up the heat. You have to come through on those promises sooner or later. That's all legit.

Its a 48 win team that's already ahead of the original rebuilding schedule. Still in a good spot.

For better or worse, there's a real tunnel vision in that front office with trying to hit home runs though. :lol

(I would've taken the Noel deal *shrugs*)
