The NBA Draft Thread

A Yahoo spokesperson told Awful Announcing Friday the almost-four-hour stream drew 3.7 million total video views, reached more than 2.8 million unique viewers across all devices, and averaged 34 minutes of watch time per user, saying “We’re very happy with the numbers and how it came out. Everything went great with Woj doing his thing and breaking news in real time. …Consumers really enjoyed the experience that we put out there. It’s kind of something new that has never been done before, so it was a fun experiment for us.”

Wow, I did not expect those numbers from the show.

Very well done by Yahoo and Woj. At times they were 2 picks ahead of ESPN and gave better analysis

N wilbon old *** was terrible too

Wilbon seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about with any of these prospects. They just replaced SAS with him to be the loud, opinionated guy who just likes to hear himself talk.

How about putting guys that kinda know about the draft on TV? We can see through the BS. Bilas only knows about the college players. Jalen and Wilbon know nothing. Doesn't help that those 3 guys would literally never hang out. Wasn't entertaining at all.

Hopefully they throw Chad ford on next year.

Agree with all this. They need knowledgable guys who actually know who the hell all of these prospects are. For pretty much the whole first round they had to go to Fran and Penn to ask their opinion on the guys being drafted.

Why would the Lakers even want Okafor? Russell is a better fit, has a more valuable skillset, and is at a the most important position in the game:

The Lakers GM & scouts brought him in twice last year for pre draft workouts and Oakfor didn't impress them enough which is why the passed on him in the first place.

Now after his rookie season Danny Ainge and Boston passed on him for this years #3 pick.

If Philly wants to deal Noel or Embiid for a trade package built around Clarkson and a future #1 pick and next years 2nd round pick. Then yes the Lakers should make a deal.

Better question...WHY would the sixers want to trade one of their young PF prospects for CLARKSON?

Because of their current roster setup right now has a log jam at the 4 & 5 positions and they need a wing type SG player. Clarkson is a combo PG & SG and is better than any SG or & PG Philly currently has and is already a proven starter in the league.

Lol......

If Clarkson is that good then man...you guys should be contenders next year with D-Russ, Clarkson, Ingram and Randle.

Good luck

Yeah...wouldn't say he's a proven starter in the league. Maybe on the Lakers roster. But he plays Harden defense and a black hole.. he's a 6th man at best
