What do you feel from today the next 5 years will en tale for Rose? Another MVP? More criticism? Just tell what you feel and why...
As for me. This might be the peak for Rose's acclaim as an individual player. I think he will get closer to the 48% fg percentage and prob around the same amount of assists as now. He might even average 26-27 a game, but even with a title win ( which I am projecting) it will never get any better than now
He already has his detractors
Too many shots, not enough assists, too many turnovers, not enough charisma, terrible on defense ( I lol'ed at that those last 2 personally)
And while I could legitimately make all of those arguments seem ******ed I wont do so unless prompted.
This however is the pinnacle of Rose's individual achievement. He will never be this pure an athlete again, he will never be what everyone else wants him to be, and with Boozers contract on the books he will prob never have a team this good again.
I want my fellow Chicago Bulls to take solice in this moment the moment where you knew for a season regardless of what management did you have a great shot to win a title.
You had the most valuable player on the planet and he was a humble relatively un commercialised figure.
as sad as it is to say Rose could shoot 40% from 3 49% from the field average 28, and get 8-9 assists per game and he will never again be MVP. This season the fans actually mattered and made the media members adjust their votes.
I would like to propose a toast.
To a good conversation about this subject and to the Bulls winning this title.
