1996 Favre 5th, and Bledsoe 6th is the highest QB salary Duo in SB the last 25+ seasons.
1 time the highest paid QB made a Super Bowl since at least '95, that was Peyton in 2009, and he lost to the 14th highest paid QB.

In 2017 the eagles had $20,448,686 combined against the cap for QBs
only the ravens, cardinals, Washington, falcons and dolphins had bigger cap hits to the QB position that year

definitely something to be said about having enough cap money to build a balanced team around the QB. i wonder if it'd be worth comparing the salary cap hit ranking of each of those QBs with the ranking of their defenses in those years.

Whew, I wouldn't know where to begin gathering defensive cap hits.
No real goal, just my own personal knowledge study of things I've long believed. (The overhype of the QB position) I've studied it from various angles (age, luck, circumstances) but never dollar wise.

while i don't claim to watch religiously, something i like about CFB is that the game is hella fast paced, high scoring, and you get to see non-traditional offenses being run. SEC games on CBS are like track meets
conversely, one of the reasons why i don't watch a lot of CBB is that games seem like struggle when compared to the NBA

*i meant the actual ranking of the defense (points allowed, ypg allowed, etc.) as opposed to the cap hit of the defense. the idea being, if you don't have to invest a bulk of your salary into a QB, you can pay to have a top ranked defense. seems like simple logic, so probably wouldn't need to be proven thru research

but shh is weird.. it was the white dudes (but especially the 1 or 2 black dudes) on my high school team that would go hunting every other week that got me
I just assumed it was like down here when dudes would say they going fishing and pretty much to go out on the boat have couple drinks and throw out a line.. I assumed we’d be out there drinkin, pop couple shots and call it a day.. but nah them dudes was legit hunting.. I went once and never again
