THE OFFICIAL 2024 - 2025 DALLAS COWBOYS SEASON THREAD || MEH

You can't tell me that the Cowboys don't ever get calls. Ridiculous

Not only that but giants fans weren't saying anything about the bad calls Dallas got early.
Carr tacky call to negate the brown fumble we recovered.
It was only a problem when it was on them late. :lol

We play coward ball.
What was wrong with going for the touchdown, or just getting closer to make it easier for Bailey?

......I'm saying, run the ball, hurry up to the line, no huddle, and run it again. Too many components to a field goal.

3-1 in the Giants stadium :smokin

Don't we have the same record in their new stadium as they have in our new one now?

We opened our stadium in 9, they opened theirs in 10. We've lost vs them every year in Dallas except this year, we've beaten them every year in NY except their Superbowl year.

Hope the coaches see what happens when you feed Dez.

I have to make sure, but since we're 4-0 in the division and Philly is 3-2 with a loss to us already, it appears everyone in the East needs to outright finish with a better record than us to win the division.

Great final drive by the boys.... Nice game from romo. Man this win (weeknd voice) feels soooo gooood

Harris and and Mo left the game with hamstring problems. They're day to day.

Which probably means they'll be put on IR Wednesday evening.
Yea, forgot I heard that. If its that serious rest them through the Turkey day game and bring them back for Chicago on Monday night.

Great win. Dez came thru on the last drive after fumbling earlier in the fourth.

Murray played great. The defense was hit and miss but i'll take it as they played pretty good in the red zone.

Romo led us that last drive for a score and left no time on the clock. Great win

Team has been money in the end zone on bot sides of the ball all season. We definitely give a lot of yards, but the turnovers and forced field goals help keep the points down.

I want Kiffen gone and Rod promoted, but this D can be good with another year under its belt and another pass rusher.

I don't want the team to revert back to old habits, but Hatcher is making it real hard to not resign him. Might be the best DT in the league right now.

Good win. If we can get a decent to good pass rush then we have glimmer of hope to do something this season. I know we got all week but, why do we blow so many leads? We can't execute plays with a lead for some reason the way we can when we are down or the game is on the line.

"The Star on the helmet gives you a 20 percent bump in perception, in talent and relevance. Even around the league. When you talk to players and coaches, there's just a perception that goes with the star on the helmet that gives you a 20% bump. I've been a Tony Romo apologist for a long time, I think he OVERCOMES a lack of talent, more than he lets the team down. And I know there are signature blunders at the end of games, but he far outweighs those with great end of game situations and carrying this team." -- Trent Dilfer.

Scandrick on Giants: "Never in my life have I heard a 4-6 team talk like that. Talk, talk, talk. We had a better record and didn't talk. We’re 5-5, 6-5 now, and we have no room to talk.."

Scandrick is pissed that Ditka said the Cowboys had no one capable of covering Victor Cruz

Scandrick: "Oh, really, Mike Ditka? The guy who traded his entire draft for a running back? That Mike Ditka"

Scandrick on pregame midfield scum: "That's just the New York Giants being the Giants. You think you're going to scare us by staring at us?"

Scandrick: "The Giants have a great coach. I have no earthly idea why he let them talk like that this week."

Scandrick: "Jason Pierre-Paul was like, 'There will be bloodshed.' C'mon, man. Did he even have a stat on the final stat sheet?"

Scandrick is friends with Terrell Thomas from SoCal, said he went to Thomas after the game and told him, "Don't talk like that, just play."

Scandrick: "Ditka said we couldn't cover Cruz. Cruz had 1 catch on me that he fumbled, and it was returned for a touchdown."

:smokin

:lol Scandrick has been awesome this season. And he has that swagger and confidence right now that's essential for playing Cb in the NFL.

Listening to Jessie Holley on the fan. Pretty interesting stuff. They mentioned how he's played around Brady and Romo and asked if he and the team felt that Romo was "that guy" that could lead the team and could count on to win and he said the team never questioned Romo but DID question the play call that he would sometimes receive, which he would relay to the team stating the following:

"Sometimes we would get the playcall and kinda be like, 'what? how is that [playcall] supposed to help us succeed." I'm paraphrasing but basically he indicated that a lot of times the play call that Romo received was suspect and they had doubts if that would essentially 'work' on that particular down or scenario they were in.

JG has been the problem for years. T.O. was right. T.O. is always right.
