Underwhelmed with the ibas2. Maybe after the 1s with better materials it just make these look cheap. I bought the wrong size too lol. I hate the trim around the ankle and the tongue. It’ll cut into my skin if I wear low cut socks. I might wait for the LS version.

Yeah..I got them for 128 through a code I had in a old email from a year ago.

Overall the build of the volume 2 feels more sturdy but noticeably heavier as well. There is a lot more boost in the volume 2. The volume 1 supposedly uses prineknit but it doesn't feel as premium as an ultra boost.

The questionable traction is the only thing holding me from getting a pair. For those that have played in the Harden 2, is the traction really really bad or mediocre comparable to Dame 2? I could live with Dame 2:s traction, since I'm over my 30s and have had to change my playing style. Is there any chance that Harden 2:s traction could break in after some use?

I don't need killer traction anymore, just something that isn't completely off. Being a Harden fan and cushioning being important to me, I'm really interested in Vol.2, especially when enjoying the Vol.1.

I think it’s pretty good and I’ve seen some reviews the same. Needs a little more wiping but I like them a lot!

Here in northern Finland we don't have a choice. It's that one recreational gym we have games in, wooden floor never clean, as bad as it gets.

I can't speak on that but was speaking moreso USA. You should tell them to clean it.

No offense but are you actually comparing pro and college courts to courts that the majority of others play on?

Most courts aren't college level clean and almost none are pro level clean.

Most of us play on regular courts so dust builds up and we don't want a shoe to have poor traction.

Regarding college pro courts wasn't really my point but I know when people feel offended (which wasn't my intention) they see what they want. My point was online I hear more about traction and seeing people slip than Ive ever heard IRL. If you don't have old sneakers outside of humid courts nowhere I've ever been has been that bad where "traction" is a thing. I've saw people wipe sneaks no doubt but to the point where folks are like certain sneaks have bad traction? Nah.

It's just a neoprene sleeve. If you remove the shroud you can't lace them.

Got my vol 2s in today I bought em to wear casually tried em on and man that spot where that shroud starts is tight as **** it's squeezing making em uncomfortable complete opposite of the 1s don't think I'll buy anymore 2s

Yea I hope so I'll wear em for a few hours see if they break in and loosen up a bit. Guys who are gonna ball in these will probably like the tight fit but for anybody that wants em for casual wear most likely won't

Got my IBASs in yesterday. They definitely run 1/2 smaller than the Vol 1s, so these are TTS like the CEs. Maybe adidas is getting their sizing under control.

Some thoughts after wearing these to the gym to see if I could make them work:
The boost feels nice - a little thicker with bounce and only slightly less court feel. I like the improvement over the Vol 1s. The sole and boost are definitely wide. Doesn't feel awkward on court - it just makes the shoe look more like a slipper when you look at the sole. Heel to toe transition was smooth. Containment and fit seem like they will be fine, but the shoe was 1/2 size small so both are hard to judge. Was getting more lace pressure with the thinner tongue. Wasn't terrible, but I did notice the change after having zero lace pressure with the Vol 1s. adidas used a heat welded rubber around the entire collar of the shoe (up the tongue and heel tab). Didn't getting any chaffing in low socks, but I did notice the rubber on my skin and didn't really like the feeling.

Just noticed that ADC is allowing coupon codes on the new colorways, so I decided to order the reds in my true size. Looking forward to seeing how they feel 1/2 size bigger.

I think they focused more on the performance aspect of the show, so that probably secures the foot in place more while playing. I felt the same thing. Overall, the shoe just looks huge as well.
