I wore the limeade yesterday and no cracks. I also pinched and bend the area and still no crack. So just bad quality of some pair???

I’m hoping that’s the case. Mine should be coming in a few days. The cracks has me worried a bit.

They were released again a couple years ago along with some other colors.
The ones posted are one of my all time favorite colorways.
Just the perfect shade of blue and the jewel swoosh is great!

Wow! That bad? I sacrifice looks/shape sometimes for comfort. Air max 1s are kinda heavy to me so I get the ultra versions.

If you want the comfort without sacrifcing the looks you good always go flyknit.

Yup. I have the FlyknIt versions. Just wanted some grey shoes to go with some jeans. Thought these AM1 ultras weren’t bad looking. Guess I was wrong.If you want the comfort without sacrifcing the looks you good always go flyknit.

Nice in hand, def some quality control issues present though. Excess glue in some spots and the tip of the swoosh is crinkled a little smh

you're better off getting some 90s right now - cheaper than AM1 and decent pairs available in abundance. Also the re-crafts are more comfortable than '87s. Most would agree.

You do you, man. If you like 'em, grab 'em. Personally I think they're fine aside from shape - which is an issue you can probably correct.

how is he meant to fix the shape on the ones he posted? no iron known to man would fix those. They'd melt before they looked even mildly good.

I'm far from a reshaping expert (obviously) but I thought I'd seen some of these particularly egregious AM1s corrected, at least to some degree. So you're saying the typical methods don't work on super bulbous toes?

I have 90s too. Just wanted some plain gray shoes to beat up. London’s are nice but not about to drop $350.also

I'm no re-shape expert either mate. But there's more than just a slight cliff toe to iron out on those. You'd have to iron the sides as well so they don't resemble snow shoes lol
