Couple more pics of these for the toe box. And I threw in a pair of grey laces to break up the white a little bit. I’m normally not a lace swapper, not sure if I like it or not?

And a bonus, I’m thinking about selling my DS pair of Sean’s today to one of the local sneaker resale stores. Just dropped a grip on having some tree work done and with air max month coming and all these pairs coming out. These just sit. Year after year. Might as well try to re coup a little.

Thanks for the extra toe box pics. They look pretty good to me, especially after the other pic I saw of them. It was near a 90 degree angle on the toe.

The 86 retros remind me a little of the 1999 AM1's that released.

Feel like they had a larger midsole overall.

TBH, I couldn’t care less about the Air Unit size on the upcoming “OG” retros.

However, if Nike releases a cw with a White Midsole / Air Unit (no matter the size) with a Grey outsole, I’d scoop them up as donors. The upper on these OGs looks hideous to me, so it wouldn’t matter.

The big bubbles aren’t everyone’s cup of tea and that’s fine. I personally feel the 2005 HOA was the best retro of the OG white/red/grey. Too bad I didn’t stock up on those back then.

138 shipped is a no brainier for a really nice pair, and maybe a future classic.

I look at 138 like 125+13 shipping. (Fair price for any quality am1)

Or, comps, ogs etc going at 140 retail with free shipping.

Magmas for sub 150 is a steal honestly. Had those been a Collab and men's release I'd be willing to bet they'd go for over retail. It's just an overall really good shoe.

It's been great to get most of these good AM1s at retail or below lately. We are gonna look back at this era fondly.
