Been a solid run for GRs the past few years, especially on discount. Collab wise, it’s been so-so in 2025. The premium goods drop was dope but not attainable for most of us. The .swoosh/poly releases, imma be honest, i liked them but had idea how to even get access to their releases and nothing i’d want to pay resale for.

Feel like the ‘21/‘22 releases of waves, kasinas, and concpts, followed up by the crepe, big bubbles, and NBY really spoiled me. In hindsight that feels like a generational run that’s hard to top. I haven’t really cared for many recent AM1s besides the chlorophylls and Olympics

I haven't bought any 1s since the big bubbles, and have been selling a lot of my collection. The big bubbles ruined regular am1s for me with how much more comfortable they are.

NBY has been pretty weak this year, but I managed to make two that I can work with

Same here. I had to take a screenshots of my own photos before uploading which seems to solve the issue.

I would say go up half or even a full size, they fit absurdly tight

Ended up trying my pair on. As background, I buy 12s in most every Jordan and Nike model. The only exceptions are the huaraches (size 13), air max 95s (size 12.5). The 12s in the big mode fit me very nicely. I may switch out the insole because it sucks but other than that my TTS fits great.

I feel you... Still prefer 87s aesthetically but 86s are definitely more comfortable

NBY across the entire platform has been weak all year! I think I've only ordered six designs TOTAL thus far. I'd definitely order more if nubuck / suede was available for the AM1!

All of these colors Nike keeps releasing for the Golfs, why aren't they releasing just as regular Big Bubbles? And I remeber seeing a sole swap of an 87 onto a Big Bubble which didn't look too good, but has anyone seen a regular Outsole swap on to a Golf Big Bubble?

I tried them back on again without Nike socks and they fit better! I would still like them to fit a bit more loose but I can wear these at least as long as I do that. I didn’t realize how thick Nike socks were with all that extra padding, it absolutely makes a huge difference for me with these.

if there's one thing i've learned from illustrayt , it's that if you don't like something, just spend several hundred dollars to change it.

For those that have the Poly Donkey Kong's and Goldeneye, is it just the tongue that makes them fit tight or does the shoe overall feel tight? Im wondering if i need to try for a 13.5 or if a regular AM1 Tongue swap on a 13 would work. Thanks in advance.

I just received the donkey kongs and ordered a half size up. My normal size would of been way too tight because of that fat tongue

If that's mold, you can mix some white vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray directly on shoes (moldy area) and let it air dry then wipe them and it should take care of that.

Happened to my black social status penny 2 after some flooding but the vinegar mix got rid of all the mold.
