The Official: Doerenbecher III thread, pics at the beginning of October.

I find it funny that everyone is complaining about resellers when they only reason they got the chance to resell, is because not enough people showed up to buy them.  I tried NDC and didnt get thru so I put on my coat, and stood on line. While on line (NTNY) I met a group from Jersey, Philly, and DC.  If people really wanted these, they would have found a chance.  After I brought my first pair,  I went to the back of the line and got another pair for my girl.  After that, I went to the back of the line twice more and was able to get the size I wanted each time.  If everyone that's complaining (in ny at least) got up and went to the store, they would have gotten a pair.  People were showing up 30 mins after opening and walking out with pairs.  I did the same when it came to the Motorsports... Went to the back of the line and hope not enough people showed up.  Bottom line, it seems like every NT had a surplus... some of y'all should stop being lazy.

^^ I got lucky and just woke up half an hour after they opened and still made it :P

First time in a long time! Usually have to camp out and was amazed I didn't have to for these.

Okay! I was being lazy. I didn't really want these so I didn't take the initiative to drive six hours to and from the closest NT from me and spend a tank and a half of gas and another tank's worth on tolls. Oh, thanks resellers for leaving a pair of size 9.5 for me come Monday when they finally take phone orders!

Give me a break.

Yes some of you live in the middle of no where and really don't have access but the rest of you stop *****ing.
I understand what u are saying to a certain degree. That is true some of us NTers are lazy, but I was one of those guys that drove 2 hours and waited in the cold as well to find out my size was sold out. I was thinking if I should pick up another size to resell to get my size but passed because I didn't want to contribute. I'll take the L and move on. LOL! I know, I know I'm bummed that i didn't get a pair!

Well next time, buy the wrong size, throw it on ebay and take the funds to get your size.

OR....Buy the wrong size and throw it in your sig, list on NT/ISS buy/sell.

That would have made your trip worth it. I've had to do that with lots of shoes. Can't come home empty handed, just gotta hustle a bit.

People always complaining about resellers

. If it was not  for resellers, half of you all would not have certain shoes in your collection. Keep it moving people.

THANK YOU!! I was even able to get my boy's pair cuz he gave me his cash ahead of time cuz he had to be at work during the release, my other boy got his 9.5 and he showed up after i had gone in the 3rd time

I can't believe people even thought they were dropping at HOH this isn't the first year a DB shoe has released anyone w/ a lil sense would've done their HW and been where they had to be cuz i even thought RFM was going to be light work and be able to get my 2nd pair from there, but those who wanted them showed up and i doubt there was a double to be sold in there when it was all over by that time my boy and i were already booking it to NTNY and we made it from LI to Manhattan in 20 minutes and even beat the Mercer crowd there this is too big of a city for there to have been extra pairs just waiting to get sold
