**..:The Official Jewelry Thread Vol. 11: You get a Jesus piece! You get a Jesus piece! Everybody gets a Jesus piece:..**

asked a while ago about getting a franco. i decided to get a 14k 20" 4mm diamond cut franco. from all saints gold in LA. its 44grams

for reference...i searched all saints, golden mine, and jacoje.

the 4mm chain i got is actually 3.87mm. they sent me the pic of it in the caliper before i ordered.

jacoje's 4mm is actually 4.25mm and goldenmine lists theirs at 4.25mm. they also dont have a 4mm. its listed at 3.7mm.
if i bought from jacoje..it wouldve been his 3.5mm chain.

so do you research. my 4mm (3.87mm) matches up with the weight of jacoje's 3.5mm and golden mines 3.7mm. all within $100 of each other.

i will probably get a 5mm in 22" in a couple months

Did you check Nova gold in the LA gold district? They usually have the best gold prices and best quality Franco.

I think saints gold and nova is the ran by someone who either works there or buys wholesale from them. Some of saints pics and vids on ig are from nova gold kiosk.

That gold dive. What happened lol
Gold is a horrible asset to hang on to long term as an investment when there are stocks, Forex, real estate, and Cryptocurrencies that all easily outperform gold on a regular basis. The price of gold has been dropping since the election mostly because it was grossly overpriced, and everything else has been going up at a faster rate. Gold will continue to fall right through 2022 and maybe later, these jewellers etc. out here talking like there is going to be a breakout and prices will go back up, when you look at the charts they show the exact opposite is happening.

Gold being an investment is how many justify the purchase of their jewelry 🤫😅😅
