Idk about box lock but can’t def get a barrel clasp which are a lot cleaner imo

Find out what the pawn shop would have paid for it. You may have to do some research to find this info, just remember that pawn shops will not pay more than the gold spot price for a chain, In fact, they might pay 60-70% of spot value. Do not pay a pawn shop what you would pay an actual jeweller, do not be afraid to ask to speak to someone that can make the deal happen.

I dont trust the lobster clasp.
