I would go for an iMac. You already have portability. you can get an iMac for the price of a MBP. The 27" i7 2.93Ghz iMac is a Powerhouse. Only reason I'm getting a MBP is because I need the portability. My next Mac will be an iMac or Mac Pro.

Anyone here have the macbook air? Debating on whether or not to get it. Any insight?

I already have an iPad, and have heard issues about the MB Air Screen

I want the full Apple integration, so I`m debating on

Getting a 21.5 iMac and a MB Air to use as a laptop

or getting a Mac Mini and sticking with what I got.

I`m looking to get into programming, and making mobile applications, so I`m not sure if I would need a decked out cpu or what. I currently have a Sony Vaio wit an i3 in it, and was thinking about just using that as my "lab rat" pc but idk.

i have a 40 inch sharp hdtv and i am looking into getting a computer. is it a good idea to just get the mac mini and connect it to my tv? i need some advice.

Is there any other programs besides Senuti that copies songs from an itouch to your computer? Senuti only lets you copy 1000 songs from my itouch and I got more then that.

Don't install any of the software that comes with it.
Yup you can reformat the drive so you can use it on pc or mac.
Use Disk utility to complete that task.

You can find applecare for much cheaper on eBay.
I got apple care for my 13in MBP for $100.
I bought just for peace of mind.
I wasn't going to buy it all at first but then my speakers got all
messed up and I had to reset them.
I'd say buy it because if you don't you're screwed.
Especially if you plan on using for a long time.

Disgruntled Apple Employee blog...puts working at Apple Retail and Apple products in a crabby light...

Anyone have similar experiences to this dude?

I'm a Mac guy (own iPhone 4 and each iPhone model previous, MBP, iPad, Display, Touch, iPod Classic) but I don't think I don't carry that holier-than-thou stigma that comes with owning / loving Apple products...

Not sure if I should post this here or not but does anyone have the new Apple TV? Was thinking of getting it for my bedroom instead of an Internet ready tv. The new air play feature is pretty dope and I heard there could eventually be an app store of some sort for it down the road.
