We'll see how the rest of the series plays out, but maybe last year's injuries to Kyrie and Love were more harmful that anyone could've thought.

They didn't get the properly evaluate the two playing against an elite team like the Warriors. Welp.

Here we go...

It's true though - it's not going to happen but the Cavs are better matching up against the Warriors without them. Both players can't defend well, and they're getting defended well (which is why they can't go off offensively like they have). None of the other teams they faced up to this point are anywhere close to GSW's level (or even the Spurs and OKC for that matter..and a few other West teams)

It was mentioned in a previous post, there's no way they could have foreseen what would happen but if the Cavs wanted to matchup better with just the Warriors specifically, Andrew Wiggins is the kind of player that would give the Warriors much more fits than Kevin Love. (No surprise, the TWolves were one of the teams that beat the Warriors this season...in fact they've been the Warriors more times than the Cavs this season)

Nah, he'd be too undersized height wise. If LeBron had a solid post game, he'd be even better. He has great passing abilities but if he's in the post, w/o being able to score efficiently down there, you can almost guarantee he's going to pass which takes away the effectiveness.

A solid mid-post game for him in the upcoming years would work wonders for whatever team he's on, hell, even now since Love want no part of the paint.

Bron has the height and wingspan on average PF.


If Paul Milsap can play 4 full time, Bron definitely could.

If Kevin Love doesn't work with Lebron because he can't play defense, why would Carmelo.  Dude has like a 106 defensive rating this year which is in the last half of the league.

The Cavs supporting cast is not championship material, but LeBron definitely deserves the blame for that for the way he constructed this team:

1. Trading Wiggins for Love. I can see why they did that - they were in "win now" mode and you knew what you were getting in Love whereas Wiggins was a gamble that could eventually either end up as the next Tracy McGrady but also the next Darius Miles. However Love was in the league for plenty of years for him to see that he's an absolute trash defensive liability. Should've taken some other decent offensive player who can play D.

2. Giving Tristan a near max contract and ruining the team's salary cap. Seriously, this is just laughable. Dude does one thing well - offensive rebounding. That's it. An average defensive rebounder, okay defender but not much more than that. The only offense he provides are offensive rebound putbacks and every now and then alley oops. Plus he's a hack-a free throw shooting liability. He referred to himself like he was the second coming of Dennis Rodman, the Canada version, but he is to Dennis Rodman what Canada is to USA as a world power.

3. Overpaying Shumpert. He was supposed to be the 3-and-D player that Battier was on those Heat championship teams, but this dude is trash who is now laughing all the way to the bank. Neither his 3 is good and his defense is overrated as well.

4. The whole David Blatt mess. David Blatt was signed as a coach before LeBron came back to the Cavs. He should've let the Cavs know about his intentions to come back before they signed Blatt so they could sign a legit experienced NBA coach and go after the championship right away instead of an experimental coach that David Blatt was.

Funny thing is that they hang around until the end of the 3rd quarter the last two games, and guess what happens, Warriors turn up the heat and Cavs get cooked and LeBron disappears in 4th qtr (not surprising)

That TT was good. Bron is not a good evaluator of talent, he thinks in the "now", and at the time TT was decent, but as time and opponents have revealed, he is not very good. At least 80 mil good. But hey, at least Bron put him in a Kia commercial.

I agree to all of this. But this also goes to show how much of a waste management is. If there's anyone who is an expensive liability, it's them. Such a shame.
