Lebron slander- high quality posting
Defending lebron and being rational- trolling
If high quality posting means saying there were no elite perimeter defenders in the 90's to guard Lebron when the guy is shooting 26% from 5-15 feet during the playoffs then sure, that is high quality posting.

Lebron can't shoot so why would anyone guard him on the perimeter? They had these things called centers in the 90s

Lebron not being able to shoot in the 90's doesnt mean nearly as much as him not being able to shoot in the 2010's

In the 80's and 90's you couldnt load up / tilt. A lot more one on one. So even if he couldnt shoot he would still be a nightmare off of his offensive ability alone. He lowkey would be better back then as opposed to now.

Defense is harder now for great offensive players than back then

Yeah, if we are going off of probably, then the Bulls Probably would have beat them too.

Rockets did great against bulls. Fatigue would have happened eventually. There's a reason why no one 4 peats or anything like that.

Most teams who win 3 straight or go to 3 straight finals look gassed that 4th playoff run. Also factor in teams like Orlando coming into prominence.

Obviously we dont know but they probably wouldnt is more likely than they probably would

None of that changes the fact that lebron would be just as good if not better back then as opposed to now.

He obviously cant shoot it but it wouldnt mean as much back then compared to now

im not buying this hypothetical or that defense is way tougher now.... nah.

Look Fam, I agree, he would've been good back then, not at the level he is now, I see him being better than Gerald Wilkins, dueling with Nique'.

If Lebron can't score with a 6' 7" Draymond Green protecting the rim, what the hell would he do against the likes of Hakeem, Shaq, Ewing, Mutumbo, Robinson, and Mourning?  Sure defensive schemes were different, but players were allowed to hand check in the early 90's so it isn't like Lebron would have been blowing by people.

Lebron's lack of shooting ability would have screwed him in the 90s

On second thought, he would not be Dominique level either. But he'd be good though, like a c grade/ b grade athletic Magic Johnson.

Lebron is 1 inch deep and a mile wide.
not to mention before you could just clog the lane. it was more difficult. you cant do that anymore.

This isnt really that much of an hypothetical though.

You can legally load up / tilt / zone up in today's nba.

You literally couldn't do that back then. Thats a fact.

Back in the day when the pace was crazy, defense was far more of a 1v1 thing as opposed to what it is now. Lebron, kobe, whoever a lot of those guys would benefit from those kind of rules. Loading up and shadow doubling makes offense a lot harder for star players.

The bulls effectively ended orlandos prominence though

The say way Shawn kemp did, and bron is 10x better than him at everything

And why are we pretending that bron never had great shooting nights

Yep, what they do now would've been a technical foul back then. but you can't tell 90's fanatics nothing
