You're just listing moves he can do. I said he's an incredible athlete and can execute any move, any footwork.

But generally he's just doing his move, he's usually not responding to how the defense is playing him. Hence the low assist rate and the super high 3PA.

Its all very ridiculous. Then they go on and on about how viewership is down. Its "Down" when you only factor in legal ways to watch. I have league pass and even I can admit that StreamEast is easier at this point. Its madness.

I feel similarly about coffee.

If you like & drink black coffee, great. Whatever you just created with two espresso shots, three pumps (pause) of some flavor, four sugars, etc. is barely coffee anymore.

Yep, low feel for the game. If he could read a defense, his ceiling would be where people think it is.

I think he's better than LaMelo at the moment and has the rarest of physical gifts.

But I think there is a better chance LaMelo could "turn down the wackiness" if he played on a team that actually gave him a semblance of structure versus Ant suddenly learning how to make simple reads. That's the sort of thing you either have or you don't.

Posting a youtube clip ain't convincing anybody. Once again, you can point to his teammates or his players, but he does not have a great natural feel for the game. He looks to score first, and hasn't figured out how to really develop into a high-level offensive facilitator.

I've always compared him to Wade because to me, he has the best first step I've seen since Wade. Wade similarly wasn't a natural PG but had a much better feel and IQ for the game. Hopefully he can develop and get there.

Has nothing to do with personality, upbringing or whatever. I was in here calling LaMelo functionally ******ed a week ago but he has a top level IQ and ability to read the game even if he leans too much into doing crazy stuff.

I don’t understand how you see a 10 minute video of a 22 year old making the right reads and countering defenses as him having a poor feel for the game. And then ignore he was averaging 8 apg in a playoff series (something Donovan has never done and Booker only once. ) or even bring Donovan and his .3 for the season, .5 for his career difference in raw assists as a measuring stick of IQ.

I’m not saying it’s you, but there are people who think he’s low IQ and lacks skill because of his personality
