The Official NBA Season Thread: Kings Fire Mike Brown

I think that their tactial skills get exposed a little bit over an 82 game season where the scouting departments are great and the players are equally intelligent. I just remember how David Blatt was just overwhelmed by the other stuff but his offense wasn't anything amazing after the first few months of the season.

Did Blatt ever get another NBA head job?

NBA game is iso heavy when it comes down to it. Hard to convince players to play a more European offense. Feel like Blatt shouldve taken a coaching position with a mediocre/borderline playoff team first.

He was let go a bit too quick, but it was understandable with the super high expectations Lebron had.

Blatt was also not a very likable guy personality wise. Dont think he got another NBA gig.

European coaches really dont succeed here. Blatt, Suns ex coach comes to mind too. Quickly get demoted to assistant.

Why is no East team calling about Lu Dort, who Dame himself admits gives him hell on defense? About 15m this yr then 16m then 17m after that and a team option. 35-40% 3pt shooting with his stellar defense and young so you can hope for linear improvement. He is borderline Canadian Dillon Brooks though but he says he is working on it

He did. Blatt was hired before LeBron decided to do another stint with the Cavs. They thought they were bringing him in to coach Kyrie and other young guys. Bron returning completely changed the dynamic.

Gawd the Bucks fit would be too good

Completely forgot about that. Looking back at it they started 30-11 (53-29 year before with him and a Finals appearance), had a better regular season record than Lue's stint same season, and he got fired

Thats the year they won it all too with Lue.

4 Finals appearances in 4 years. Why does this seem so long ago.

Tatum and Brown don't even play off each other. They just take turns scoring. Booker and KD was kinda the same way last year. Lakers 3 compliment each, I think the Bucks will compliment each other.
Brah gotta put conditions now instead of just saying who has the best Team Working Big 3

In that case it's definitely Denver's or MIL's. **** the Heat Midas whale be up there too

Ain't that the point of a Big 3? To compliment each other? Or just who's the most talented?

MPJ part of a big 3? Dawg avg 13 and 1.6 assists. Austin more productive and way more efficient.
