Tsai has publicly defended some of China's most controversial policies. He described the government's brutal crackdown on dissent as necessary to promote economic growth; defended a law used to imprison scores of pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong as necessary to squelch separatism; and, when questioned about human rights, asserted that most of China's 1.4 billion citizens are "happy about where they are."

A former college lacrosse player with investments in the WNBA, Major League Soccer and professional lacrosse, Tsai sees himself as a bridge between two increasingly polarized cultures, according to sources close to him who spoke on condition of anonymity. He believes China's restrictions on personal freedoms have paved the way for economic development that has improved the lives of millions of its citizens.

But his positions and association with companies implicated in human rights abuses have drawn criticism from a bipartisan collection of U.S. officials, human rights activists and academics focused on China.

"Joe Tsai is emblematic of U.S. sports and business figures who are critical of American imperfections, as we all should be, but who make excuses for human rights atrocities committed in China, where he makes money," said Matt Pottinger, a former deputy national security adviser and China specialist in the Trump administration. "We're going to self-censor or even compliment the policies of a totalitarian dictatorship that's committing crimes against humanity?"

Things that the owners do a far removed from what the players do.

You guys want to suffer through endless dialogue about the the vile things people do on that level go ahead. Start the dialogue no ones stopping you. Loop in all the owners too I am sure they’re all by and large terrible.

The atrocities committed by the Chinese to the Uyghurs people are absolutely disgusting and should warrant way more backlash.
The Shoah was absolutely disgusting and mentioning Hitler and his sinister endeavors and/or beliefs is unacceptable.

My initial thought was PG can not possibly be Top 75. Did my due diligence per usual....7X AS, 6X All-NBA, 4X All Defense, All Rookie MIP, 1X Steal Champ. 20/6/4 over 743 games. Looked up Dame....6X AS, 6X All-NBA, All-Rookie, All-NBA. 25/4/7 over 716 games.

PG might really be Top 75 material :wow:

Texas is different bro. First time I went there was for work with my boss. We got scooped up art the airport and for the first time there were bodyguards to accompany us and I was thinking WTF. Maaannn we showed up to the corporate offices and there was everyone from employees to executives with holsters on em. I was shook as hell because I was talking to greasy to some of them before I saw how they roll in Texas firsthand. I was quiet as a church mouse the whole trip :lol:

How was he mocking his death? He was just making a comment about how folks should move at a certain point. I don't think it was directed specifically at Takeoff either. It is applicable to folks of all walks of life 🤷‍♂️
