Nothing Malone said was a lie. Denver gave Miami a ton of open looks in Game 1 that will get them beat if they do it again. Nuggets have let me down too many times to think Game 1 was more than just 1 game of a long series. Every Game 2 has been touch and go for the Nuggets this entire run so expect a fight and they know that. Not to mention every Miami game against Denver during the regular season was very close with both teams hitting lots of threes.Idk I didn't read that like an underdog act. Basically how I feel about what SAS said. Reckless and just weird overall. To put that out in the air because Ja’s recklessness was made public on social media when worse is happening amongst professional athletes/high end professionals is just wild (just not putting it out in the public like most people don’t).
This is why whatever Silver was trying to avoid by not releasing suspension news didn’t work. You are now seeing worse takes made nationally by guys like Perk, SAS, etc in a time period where Ja basically went dark from social media.
