It’s safe to say Magic could’ve averaged 26+ if he chose to assert himself more. I’m just saying, it’s not far fetched that Magic could’ve averaged points in that range if he chose to facilitate less

What EYE remember about Magic during his career is that he was considered a poor/non-shooter when he came in the league. But he worked hard on his jumper every offseason and became a very credible shooter, including from 3.

But he had a set shot with a relatively slow release, so he couldn’t really make outside shooting a big part of his offensive repertoire.

Shot under 25% from 3 every season of his career except 3 where he was shooting low 30’s
