The Official NBA Season Thread

These stats are interesting, but it’s not even that deep.

The Celtics would still comfortably be a playoff team without Tatum. Can’t say that about the Nuggets, Thunder, T-Wolves or Bucks without their best player.

It’s not a knock on Tatum; he’s just blessed to be on a really, really good team.

I feel like that's the sports/ university industry in general in the US?

I don't live there, but whenever we are on vacation in Europe and meet American parents, they often talk about their kids and what sports they are focusing on solely for the purpose of getting a university scholarship.

One parent in particular was talking about new upcoming sports and how they can take advantage of that since the competition is still not quite there. The mother also mentioned the bowling is an easier path to university scholarship so they're enrolling their son in competitive bowling.

This is wild to me for so many reasons that I cannot mention as I am in the middle of a client zoom meeting.

It’s an ESPN/ABC thing so doesn’t that almost certainly mean that Stephen A or Malika will be involved?
Setting looks like it took place during the Olympics, so if there's an interviewer I'm guessing it would be Windy since he was on assignment in Paris.

Wemby should be fined for that flop.

He also got 7 blocks with half of the second qtr left. What’s the record?
