The torch has been passed. The Warriors, Lakers, and Suns legitimately suck. Hate to see Bron, Steph, and KD go out like this. I guess playing with “superstars” isn’t as desirable.

I agree. Nobody be at those games. Nobody was at all star weeekend either but you can see so much blue seat backs when you watch the Pels on TV

Well dudes retire later too. So it’s just hard to win being older. No different than MJ with the Wizards or a Kobe after the achilles. Bird with his bad back. Barkley with his bad back. Pippen barely played his final season. Etc etc etc
We also see more of it because digital media has all eyes on these guys 24/7. So the decline is more visible. I can’t recall Isaiah Thomas last few years for example.
Rarely does a guy quit on top or in his prime. Can’t blame them when you are now being offered 40 mill plus a season.

To be real Steph and LeBron having 2 of best "endings" we've seen. Both still real good individually. Most great players end their careers bad. DWade, AI, NT's favorite Dirk was terrible his last couple years. Ain't no perfect endings.

not really, they dont even put the Cavs and Thunder on tv. Lakes got more than both combined even after they flexed more in. New apron rules was definitely aimed at the Clippers, Warriors, Suns type teams/owners though.

Feel like when I’ve watched in the past the Pels have had good loud crowds when ZeeOn has actually been playing for stretches. If he were more reliable the crowd would be there. But he’s not.
