1. being "outplayed" by a combination of two centers playing with the best lob thrower in the history of basketball is not exactly and insult.
2. I find the idea if you switched Lively/Gafford and Gobert the wolves would have been better off absurd.
Like watch Luka's return game vs Dallas. Did it look like Lively had any impact on Luka?
Livley is better on offense, but Gobert is still the better defender.

He’s a part of that team and structure tho. Consummate pro. When it’s not his time, because of his limitations he’s not pouting or not being engaged. Hes stays ready. And this is an example of him getting his get back, when it was favorable for him.

There's nothing to re-write about Gobert.
He's very good defender with some limitations that make him a bit less effective in the playoffs.
it was never true that it's easy to "play him off the court"
but it is true that he's less versatile than a Draymond Green or Prime Anthony Davis
but people want to spin this narrative that he's some total fraud.

. He’s a good player with severe limitations in the playoffs. The accolades are good, sure. He won’t even be remembered as the most impactful defender of the time he played. He’s good for the 82, a liability for the 16. Nothing wrong with that, like you said. But no need to run over here after this series to try to pump him up.
