I have no clue. Been eyeing the market for the last couple years trying to find a pair in decent shape.
Couldn’t really find anything for less than $300. Decided to search Saturday on eBay and thought the seller maybe listed with an error. Couldn’t believe it.
 
There must be a lot of shenanigans going on with stockX cause I got an email about shipping my Kobe’s that sold pre scum baggery. I already sent them before the email anyway.
 
Always wanted a pair of Kobe’s for the collection and was close to copping the chaos 5.

but now with all this madness ima wait till the hype dies down a little bit or just bow out. I’ll find some other way to honor the man.

When I think of him, I think of Bobby Phills, since both passed away while they were active players and they still had so much energy for the game. I was actually in Charlotte for a 3 week internship in January of 2000.

96-97 Rookie year: Adidas Top Ten 2000 FYW. He did do the promo and I believe he wore the Navy purple pair early that year before the Eqt Elevations (now Crazy 97 were ready). 👍
 
TBH, I feel like they shouldn't release it. Just feels wrong. Especially right now when people are trying to snatch up everything Kobe related to sell.

But then at the same time, it wouldn't be fair to people who are gonna keep them and wanna have something to remind them of Kobe since they already have all the shoes made.
 
I know I posted this pick up not too long ago. Broke them out again yesterday. For a while I kinda regretted it because I spent a lot on them and was thinking of selling them. So glad I didn’t. I would of never had the chance to own the again. I still can’t believe he’s gone. |l

This is the closest I ever got to him. sat 2nd row right behind the lakers bench during a pre-season game. I took so many pics and was excited to see them when I got home. Then I realized my camera was messed up and every pic came out blurry. I was so damn pissed. I’m just glad I got that experience at least. It’s so surreal seeing him up close.
