This year is full of surprises.
Everyone said it will be a bad year for Sony but I think it's been a good year. A lot of the games this year are reviewing higher than I thought they would.
This should go down well at Konami.

Microsoft games are also going to get PS5 Pro enhanced versions too with nothing to counter it.
No clue where MS goes from here as far as console hardware but as a publisher, they'll be fine.

I agree. I don’t want to see what kind of antics they come up with if Xbox is out of the picture. It’s little things they do that rub me the wrong way. I say that as someone who plays mostly on PlayStation.

The VR2 and Pro seem like they’re catering to hard core at premium prices but not delivering killer apps.
I think Microsoft will be fine. They’re a software company. Hardware is where they’ve always dropped the ball (Zune, Windows Phone and we’re getting there with Xbox the last two generations).

Just posting the current state they're in. Competition is good but in this case the competition is not showing up and you can't force competition.
That's like buying an AMD GPU even though they're missing features you want that are in Nvidia GPUs.
Also, where's this energy for competition when it comes to Valve and Nintendo who have less competition in their category.
Most PC launchers that are not Steam are dead before arrival and Nintendo owns the handheld console space and have Japan all to themeslves.
There is no urgency for Nintendo to have an online system as good as what Sony and MS had a decade ago because it's not hurting them one bit.
Even if Xbox goes away, Sony is still competing with these two giants. PS4 Pro was a response to people jumping to PC during the end of the PS3 gen.
PC is even more accessible now and they're getting PS games but there's no competition?

Disclaimer: I'm a Star Wars fan.
So in my biased opinion, I really enjoyed Fallen Order and Survivor.
The gameplay and mechanics is more or less your standard 3rd person traversal game with a combat system that you need to get used to, along with some puzzle solving challenges. It was ok and enjoyable... but what I liked most was that there was a story to be told within the Star Wars universe... and it actually helped expand the universe. Enjoyed the exploring aspect of it very much as well... so much so, that I Plat'd both of them.
I don't think the reviews for Outlaws have been great, but discounted enough, I'll def give it a go.

Star Wars fan. Obviously. I enjoyed Survivor. Platinum it. Gameplay was better you could fast travel. Fallen order probably had a better story though.

EYE have never own an XBox console in my life and want them to do well just to stave off Scumbag Sony and their ********.
They're already starting to do that silently raising the price of Dualsense controllers, seemingly ignoring OG PS5 owners with their new console cover colorways, not to mention bringing out a PS5 Pro that don't eem come with a stand.
Last thing we need is Sony Madden'ing or NBA 2K'ing the console market (Nintendo and the Switch are beast but they are in an entirely different lane from $ony and Micro$oft.

Got the plat for Vampire Survivors (PS5).
Easily the best $5 EYE have spent on a game. Put 60 hours in so far doing the base game and some DLC.
Going from a weakling that couldn't last past 11 minutes in Mad Forest to essentially being an unkillable Super Saiyan god with the right build had me like
Even Red Death was no match for me.
When his BA pulled up on me at the 30:00 minute like he usually does and EYE had all my weapons evolved and the Infinity Corridor:
Sent him to Da Shadow Realm in like a minute.
Gonna clean up the DLC for 100% then run it all byke with the PS4 version.
