    ALSO

This is interesting. Fed was supposed to wear the anthracite/pink Vapors for Oz, but according to Nike Tennis FB, Fed was given 4 iD Vapors for Oz and wants people to vote.

    Here are the 4...

Note: these are his actual PE's... not the retail model.

Posted the full-rez for the detail.

His line is so underrated...his sneakers and gear.

Pissed Rafa is out...going for fed now.

Anyway, let's relive some of the craziness from 2012.

A good breakdown of the draws.

    http://tennis.si.com/2013/01/10/australian-open-draw/

No doubt Fed has a tricky one, but he's also had cake-ones in the past... things just balancing out.

On paper it looks tough for him, while it looks favorable for Nole, but take nothing for granted.

I've always looked at the draw as if you want to win a slam, you have to beat great players to do so. Fed has a tough draw Sharapova has a fairly easy draw and Nole has one in between.

I dont know, ever since the shoulder seems Sharapova's too weak to make noise at Australian.

just read on ESPN if draw works out, Serena and Azarenka in the semis :pimp:

    james blake lost his qualifier

^ She had to withdraw from a tourney last week from a collarbone issue. Probably precautionary, but it's still a concern.

Blake lost to Donald Young... freaking Young.  That guy's been having a lot of issue with his game and the USTA... it was a mess. Maybe it really is time for James to quit.

thinking on it, I'd rather have draw where Serena could face Vika in the finals again. last year was a CLASSIC. almost forgot how much Vika had to struggle and fight to come back and win. :nthat:

Yeah, might be time for Blake to hang em up.

I didnt know Maria pulled out a Tourney last week. welp...

I don't think Sharapova's injury is that serious. Vika withdrew in the semis of a tourney a few weeks back so I'm sure everyone is just resting up for the long haul.

Vika supposedly had an ingrown toenail from a dodgy pedicure. [IMG]

But both her and Maria should be ok.  Just being safe.

Anyway, what a freaking joke of an article. Clearly the guy doesn't watch tennis.

    CNN is better than this.

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...australian-open-draw-not-a-problem-for-fed-ex

******g grass courts of Melbourne Park!?  Fed finished "third and fourth" in the past!?  How the hell do you do that in a slam??? It just doesn't work that way. [IMG]

That article was pathetic SP.. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not buying Rafa's "stomach virus" thing. I think his knee isn't recovering as fast as his doctors thought.

It appears the author has since removed the "grass of Melbourne Park", but still the "3rd and 4th place finish" bit... [IMG]

It's clear the guy knows nothing about tennis.  I can't believe they even published that.

I think Ryan Harrison might give Nole a decent match. Other than that...maybe Querry?

Davydenko I heard has been on a tear but I don't think he gives Fed a match.

I like DelPo to at least make it to the semis. Healthy and looking confident :pimp:
