Should I get that ps vita with the playstation plus bundle?
I mean I like mobile gaming, and I like that you can basically use your ps vita as a controller.
But I mean to those that have it, how often do you really use it?

The graphics on Klllzone and inFAMOUS 
I use mine a lot.
Any game that is on both Vita/PS3 I buy on the Vita because it's just more convenient unless it has noticeable visual or frame rate issues which only happens to few games and the OLED screen just make games look a lot better.
The good thing about that plus bundle is that it benefits the other platforms as well, PS3 and PS4 and 2 of the games free on plus now till November, Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss are two of the best games on the Vita.
If you like mobile gaming then I think it's a very good deal.

The only bundle that I can think of that is remotely close to this is nintendo's gamecube that came with a gameboy player.

The way this dude is slicing up people. I'm posting this because I checked the original on the Amiga and wow it looked bad but it's an old game so it's expected.

Not sure if anyone has brought this up before, but this is the first Sony gaming platform (Console or handheld) to not launch with a Ridge Racer... its minor, especially with all the other racing games being available at launch, and GT6 dropping on PS3 a month later, but i thought that it was an interesting fact

The Order 1886 info after closed doors presentation
Ready At Dawn CEO Ru Weerasuriya addressed the games press in a behind closed doors presentation of the studio’s shooter The Order: 1886. The game was conceptualised in 2006 and was derived from short stories penned by Weerasuriya. It’s now a full-scale project with a 95-strong team and running on the bespoke RAD engine 4.0.
The Order is a third-person shooter, and it’s billed as the first game in a franchise of titles that may also spill out into other forms of media. Set in an alternate post-industrial revolution London, the game’s steampunk, almost Dickensian veneer was researched by a snap-happy studio trip to London, in which Weerasuriya and his crew took over 38,000 photos of the city.
Why? Well, the game’s core hook isn’t steampunk, or the arkane, or even those brilliant twirled moustaches we’ve seen so far. Those photos were actually research for both the game’s aesthetic design and the team’s material creation tools, as well as its bespoke ‘Abel’ physics engine. We were shown photos of zoomed-in cobblestones, of granite and gravel, each taken to make the world of The Order visually impressive, believable and most importantly – destructible.
The game has dynamic destruction, and while we’re not talking about Battlefield 4 levels of military bombast, Ready At Dawn’s surface and environmental destruction is rather impressive. We saw Weerasuriya jump into a stone courtyard and pumped rounds from the protagonist’s Combogun – an assault rifle and shotgun hybrid – into a brass fixture set into a wall. The object crumpled and imploded with force after each round found its mark, deforming it in real-time.
He then spawned in a bunch of teddy bears and went all Robocop on their stuffed *****, first blowing off a head, and then four limbs one at a time. This might sound like a gimmick, but we were all assured that dynamic destruction, texture warping and convincing object physics lie at the heart of The Order: 1886′s gameplay. When the crowd asked why, we were told it wasn’t yet time for that particular discussion.
What I can tell you is that the game looks brilliant, as in next-gen brilliant, not just a small leap in fidelity. We were treated to a fly-over through an underground plaza lined with pubs, meandering NPCs and street lamps so convincing you could almost hear the bulbs hum. At the end of the street sat a mosaic, with each raised tile impacting the way those lights dances across its surface.
This is what a large part of next-gen gaming is about; the dynamic factor, and The Order: 1886 already seems to have that in spades. It’s an intriguing project that both Sony and the developer are being coy about, but I’m intrigued to learn more, especially to see how on earth textures and destruction impact gameplay as Weerasuriya promised. I’m looking on with keen interest for some sort of clarity.

Ever since rumours about its exclusivity towards Microsoft’s next generation Xbox One console to its reveal at E3 2013 and the confirmation that it would only be arriving for Xbox and PC, many have wondered if Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall would ever come to PlayStation consoles. The powers that be at Respawn have neither confirmed nor denied whether it will – just that fans will have to wait till it appears on either PS3 or PS4 any time soon.
However, a recent screenshot from a developer feature for Respawn and Titanfall showcases something intriguing: A blurred out dev kit in the corner, standing vertically, but with a Dualshock 3 controller close to the monitor. As some have pointed out, this is most likely a PS3 dev kit since PS4 dev kits tend to lay horizontal. Of course, PS3 dev kits can also lay vertical so this argument doesn’t really help.
Sure the video is two months old, but it fits in with Respawn telling PlayStation fans to wait for a PS3/PS4 version of Titanfall. It could be that it’s already in development, but will be timed exclusive for Xbox One/Xbox 360 first. Seems plausible? Let us know in the comments below.

GameStop managers to receive PS4, seven games

GameStop managers will receive PlayStation 4 units and seven games at launch, GameStop has confirmed to Joystiq. The announcement was made at the company's GameStop EXPO, currently taking place in Las Vegas.
A tipster informs us the games to be given with the console include: Killzone: Shadowfall, NBA 2K14, Madden, FIFA 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Beyond: Two Souls. That final one being a curiosity if we're to assume managers will receive PS4 versions of the listed games, since to the best of our knowledge, and reiterated by Sony in follow-up, Beyond is only for PS3.
Update: Checking in with GameStop for further clarification, a spokesperson said, "Beyond is for PS3, all others are for PS4. Some are physical and some are digital vouchers."
