Sony needs to stop announcing/releasing stuff if it isn't 100% functional / ready at launch. We cant miss what we don't know about.

So basically it's only useful if you need to take a @#$% but can't be bothered to hit pause for a few minutes?
I wasn't planning on using this function anyway, but it's definitely @#$@$@ up to misinform and drag in customers with half-true claims
The upload speed needed from your ps4, to the internet, to whatever random wifi network you're connected to elsewhere, is too much to ask to play without considerable delay.
This. I feel mis-lead. I'll ask my NT Brethren. I'm more comfortable on the Xbox platform all together (This Gen), but because of remote play I got all my sports games for PS4. Should I cancel and go back to M$ or stay the course?
If your ps4 is connected to a T3, and you're on a decent wifi connection, you might be ok.This. I feel mis-lead. I'll ask my NT Brethren. My network at work is a T3. So your theory goes out the window.

Agreed. It will work, but expect significant lag.
just go back to that other brand
nowhere did they say it wont work if you leave home, theyre just advising people on the best way to use it for the best results
anybody who thinks that - some other network > the internet > your house wifi = some kind lag free experience is kidding themself
gigabit ethernet was always going to provide the best connection
Stay the course
just go back to that other brand
If you have a T3 at your gaming disposal, you are better off than anyone else in this thread in regards to Remote Play.Yea Imma just stay the course.. Hopefully remote play won't freakin suck balls.
I don't own a vita, and don't plan on ever getting one.. so i should be good

All hail Yosp!@yosp: Thanks for the feedback to the lack of MP3 and DLNA support at the launch of PS4. I'll share with the PS4 Dev team for future consideration."
I never expected it to work outside my house
